For the backstory, this was a truck driver who wanted a new truck and did this so his employer would buy a new one (source in french). He was asked to pay a new truck and left the company (without paying back his employer according to his twitter).
Indeed important addition, this didn't come out of nowhere.
Funnily enough, Drake used to be a Pusha fan. Here's a small clip about him as a teenager using a mic signed by Pusha T.
In the same clip you can hear Drake and his youth friends talk about his hair, which got adressed in - you guessed it - Pushas latest diss track ('The Story of Adidon').
They had one episode where they showed what the house looked like when the brought the first kid home. Mostly white decor and very tidy and neat.
It's at 3:44 in this episode. At 6:47, you see what it looks like after 1 kid.12:00 is just sad
I remember Toni Morrison being on Colbert or Stewart or something and she was talking about how she can't remember Beloved at all so she can read her own books as if she's her own audience, she definitely saw the silver lining in it. It's not insane to me because I'm 24 and my memory is so terrible I can definitely imagine writing a book and forgetting about it decades later.
edit here's the interview, it was on Colbert: link, she's amazing :) I like how she talks about her books as being separate entities, and I love how she read her own book and loved it as a reader haha I mean, I would certainly be proud of that - I'm a picky reader so if I were able to read my own work years later without cringing, I would see that as quite an accomplishment
You might enjoy /r/happycrowds. One of my favorite music related posts from that sub:
A huge crowd in Paris sings an entire song for Lara Fabian, instead of letting her sing it. Lara tries to sing it but is on the verge of tears the entire time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa_oXeVXQi0&feature=youtu.be
Another one: At their U.S. debut, a European singer can't sing the chorus because she is overcome with emotion when the crowd sings the chorus with her: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEng60LouQo
Edit, thanks to /u/TampaPowers, another classic. French singer tries to sing his song, but the crowd sings it instead. He is awe struck as he plays the piano and just looks off into the crowd singing his song: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2qhfwf
I love how closely that tracking shot mirrors the earlier tracking shot when Shaun walks to the market before the outbreak
Terry Pratchett, the prolific fantasy writer from the U.K., released a video on assisted death several years back. It's no secret that he suffered from early-onset Alzheimer's so he had a rather particular interest in the subject. The video, Choosing to Die is certainly not like his comical works, but provides an insightful look into assisted suicide.
Keep tissues handy.
During the last match, the Japanese commentators said that WWE can't do what they do, and can't touch them in match quality(actually called out WWE)
And they're god damn right.
EDIT: Happens around 33:40
"If I could be honest, Kanazawa-san, can WWE do what we do?"
"Well if we're speaking match quality...can I say it?"
"Should we not?"
"I think it's ok. Let's just say that WWE in-ring product is becoming more New-Japan like"
"Exactly, you could say it's a sales war!"
Not really: M.I.A. already did it years ago, performing the Grammys literally on her due date, with a sheer polka-dot number emphasising her huge bump. That was taboo-breaking and iconic.
Didn't he do well?
Seriously, I'll be rewatching his episode of HIGNFY tonight, then. Ian Hislop has said that "Play Your Iraqi Cards Right" is the most tasteless thing the show has ever done. He's probably right. It's brilliant.
Can't recall off the top of my head, but one of the MJ documentaries talks about how the Bulls all felt they were spent after Game 5 because of how relentless the Jazz were and after the Bulls played so many more games before the finals. They weren't sure they could end the series. Then MJ took over. Could have been for the sake of drama, but it was worth noting.
EDIT: Basically the last 15 min of Michael Jordan to the Max
In this scene she is playing a teacher seducing a student... That episode was about fulfilling viewers 'fantasy's' by having the girls act it out.
Edit - found the video. Dailymotion link - skip to 15:40
He talks about this specifically in the documentary he did with Patrick Vieira called Best of Enemies. An incredible watch for any football fan.
Link - https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x18a5ie
Edit: The part where Roy talks about this is at 27:47
I think I've found one of the tracks:
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x80ek9_keith-jarret-the-koln-concert-part_music
It doesn't say "as covered by" and it sounds like there's a live audience. Also the notes sound a bit wonky.
Nick DiPaolo is so fucking based
Check out his bit on the roast of Larry the Cable Guy at 3:00
"That was a great joke you white liberal faggots. Black people are laughing all the white obama fans are crying." and this was from 2009
Can’t believe I watched the Duchess of Sussex get banged against shelf of records in Suits

Wait until you guys see the First Lady’s old pics...
If /r/soccer was around in the 90s Ajax would be the ultimate hipster team. Starting of the decade with van Gaal as a manager and Dennis Bergkamp as the big hero we win the UEFA Cup in 92. We lose Bergkamp 2 years later but get literally the most sexy player in the universe as his replacement: Jari Litmanen.
Then the 94/95 season happens. A young squad, filled with academy talent going unbeaten in the league and winning CL, beating Bayern München (5-2) and the then biggest team in the world (Milan) three times on the way.Van gaal has the best moves ever in the final. The season after that we continue our european dominance, with a 0-2 away win vs Madrid in the most dominant Ajax performance I’ve ever seen. We could have scored 8 that day, and received a standing ovation by the Bernabeu. Unfortunately we strand in the final where we got beaten by Juventus.
After that all our good players left and I don’t want to write about that. I was still pretty young at that time but it was one of the best years of my life. My mum had choir practice at Wednesdays so it would just be me and my dad watching all those Ajax games together. Even the Feyenoord supporting kids in my school were Ajax fans that year.
It's probably a good thing /r/soccer wasn't around back then. I can't imagine what it's like to have so many delusional people in your fanbase as some EPL teams have here.
Here is a video. Around the 50 sec mark. Ghana player does seem to just fall over.
Though might need another angle. There are full match videos on the net but they are not easy to find.
There's a fascinating BBC documentary called 'The Secret War', part of which covers 'The Battle of the Beams'. I can highly recommend it:
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x123i1g
EDIT: and of course there's a Mitchell and Webb spoof of it
Here you go mate. It's from a BBC show called The Big Life Fix and there are 2 stories each episode. The story you're interested in starts around 22 minutes and you get to see more of the development process. Enjoy it :)
This is a very good documentary on him as it speaks with people who dealt with him on a daily basis, as one of the longest heads of state in the world and how the West allowed his atrocities for the Billion dollars a week the oil reserves made.
I know it's just a friendly... But seriously that's one of the greatest headers I've ever seen.
Edit: Especially if u see this angle at 33 secs in.
Damn I just rewatched the leaked comic con trailer and that just gave me so many chills and brought back memories of all the speculation at that time.
Here it is if you wanna rewatch it: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5vzdu9
edit: holy shit I'm trying to find a way to link it here but someone filmed it from the stands and whoever was riding just behind them missed Oliveira by centimeters

Lol, you sit in the front rows of any standup set you're taking a risk. Jimmy Carr once said that you should sit up front for a standup set with someone if you're not sure of your status after he did this.
We are witnessing the Twilight Zone Episode "It's a Good Life" come to life.
If you've already seen it, don't click the link as I'd hate to blow the link up with too many views.
It isn't the best or the most hyped, but by far my favorite live performance is Born Singer stage from BTS Begins concert. It was very emotional, and you can tell that the members felt each and every word they sang. I also love their stage: going from facing each other to facing ARMYs, and with the words and images playing on screen in the background.
If I had to choose one and only one performance to see at a BTS concert, this would be it. (Unfortunately, the chances of that are zero.) I actually re-watched this after their MAMA daesang, and it really killed me.
Since i already commented with the link in the original thread i may as well do it here as well.
I still get chills when I remember his performance vs Chelsea away at Stamford Bridge, vs Juventus in the Gamper Trophy match etc.
This is 18 year old Messi being absolutely manhandled by Chelsea players in a CL knockout fixture and yet coming out on top - https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xpmtk6 (Can't find a Youtube video of just his performance, so Dailymotion it is).
His doggedness and instinctive decision making is what set him apart from every other 18 year old prodigy. He was raw, no doubt, but he could dribble in between 5 players, pick out a gorgeous pass, hold on to the ball with two opponents trying to dispossess him...
>I am romantically in love with my dad.
>...romantic kissing, full on oral, and anything you can thing of.
Spoiler: She's here to end her sexual relationship with her dad. Her dad is here to prove she's making the whole thing up.
Edit: /u/bbirddribb posted a link to the episode
RIP. Bourdain teki aivan timanttisia matka/ruoka-ohjelmia. Suomi-jakso on yhäkin lengendaarinen. Hieno ukko, kevyet mullat .. Ikävää että lähtö tuli tällä tavalla.
Episode on Drive here.
And Dailymotion here.
For the Daily Double "word shared in the name of 2 of the 27 [landlocked states]", I guessed [Kansas (which would include Arkansas).](/spoiler). Think that would have worked?
A fun trivia I found on the Wikipedia: It's the only state that is triply landlocked. [What is Nebraska?](/spoiler).
The pinnacle of King of the Hill YTP is Durhamrockerz. They recently DCMA'd his top videos off youtube after like 6 years. So stupid.
After many minutes wasted trying to find a full video and not just a poorly edited highlights video of the event where they literally skip seconds in-between pauses in speech:
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6j0jhp (timestamp 33:00)
As an aside, last time I watched WWF/WWE was 2002-ish. It's interesting how they've pretty much adopted the style of professional boxing now, in how they present fights. They have professional-looking ringside commentators, and a pre-show discussion panel where men in suits discuss the upcoming matches and use the same clichés you hear in HBO and Showtime boxing coverage. Their pundits also speak just like HBO boxing pundits, with the same dumbass inflections and pacing.
How times change.
Show: Nogizaka Under Construction
Episode: ? Edit: someone else in the comments found it. Episode 20
Group: Nogizaka46
Left girl: Nishino Nanase
Box girl: Noujo Ami
Right girl/shocked girl: Shiraishi Mai
The show isn't about guessing things in boxes - this segment just is. It's a variety show, so they do something different in each episode. This show typically spends like the first half of the episode focusing on something which a single member (or small group of them) wanted to do, then it shifts back to the studio, where a much larger group does some other activity.
Of course, the show breaks this formula all the time, so that doesn't mean much.
The uploader has not made this video available in your country. - Why do people still do this shit? Either no one cares, or it's available somewhere else and now that other place gets to monetise the time in front of my eyeballs.
Who was the crazy looking pixie chick that demolished the course? I remember watching that back in the day but can't remember her name or anything really about her. I think she was part of some dancing show that had "muscle" in the name but that's all my memory will give me right now.
Edit: Figured it out. Her name is Ayako Miyake. The commenting is hilarious on this one.
Same. I woke up to my fiancee crying her eyes out while repeating "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" to me because she knew how important he was to me. A lot of my life choices and paths were because of him, so it feels personal. I know, without a doubt, that his death will be the most profound celebrity death for me.
If anyone is interested, this is the episode of A Cook's Tour where Tony and Ripert visit The French Laundry.
The partner/boyfriend/law firm/Buffy watching joke is 100% Jim David. I don't remember the part with him hiding his face but that bit is definitely him.
edit: that part begins around 13:50.
Yeah it was PSG and you're absolutely right, don't think there are many people that can switch from frustration to absolute focus so quickly.
Looked it up quickly and found this for anyone who doesn't remember or would like to re-watch but it's not the best quality! https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6evz00
For those that did not know there was a single-episode TV show, Tales from the Far Side, you are welcome.
Edit: I just saw that Larson mentioned he did not want his comics posted online. If people feel like this show is the same thing, I will happily delete this post.
This is the full one

I'm pretty sure there's been an attempt by Nike and Lebron's team to erase this video from the internet and obfuscate its existence with shortened and edited versions, since the only place you can find it is dailymotion.
It appears to have been mildly successful since alot of people think this and the 30 second versions are the real commercial
Someone on the spoiled sub also joked about Eureka creating an army of bots to invalidate the other girls. I like the idea of Eureka staying up late hatching her plan after seeing the Miss Congeniality bylines. Eureka acting as a tech mastermind is the reunion storyline we deserve.
This tweet is just to distract us from her <em>secret plan.</em>
Edit: To clarify since I'm getting downvoted - I do not think Eureka actually masterminded the bots. It's just a funny concept.
One last thing. If you are interested please check out this week's 60 Minutes: http://www.cbsnews.com/videos/preview-starr-students/
It highlights a school in my country that has successfully been sending pupils to Ivy League universities in the US. It was started by an American with familial connections to Somaliland and its a very valuable institution here. I have a baby cousin who goes there and so can vouch for the quality of education this school provides.
The link will not work for those outside the US, you use VPN (Browsec) or click below for a dailymotion trailer: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5jz41t_preview-starr-students_news
It airs this Sunday, I am very much looking forward to watching it.
For those who enjoyed this, the clip is from a Japanese variety show called Knight Scoop. The premise of the show is that they send "detectives" to address all manners of requests from their viewers ranging from "what does my dog do in its spare time" to "I want to give my crush a chocolate version of myself".
/u/eletricmint has subbed a ton of clips and posted them to /r/FunnyJapan. Unfortunately, he has since discontinued the work and many of the uploads you'll see now are reposts of these subs.
You can find video downloads here. His YouTube channels were copyright claimed to death but he has a Dailymotion channel with many of the videos.
In Exo's Second Box, Baekhyun talks about how his hair got destroyed from bleaching it, so he decided to try a bunch of different colors at the time because it was ruined anyway. He talks about it about 13:48 in the video. I think this was like 2015.
The title of the book means "fuck me" in french, and is about rape, sex, drug and murder. It was made into a PG18 movie in the early 2000s in France. It was quite the scandal, actually when the movie came out...
Italian talk/variety show called Chiambretti Night. It's themed as an interview in a nightclub so it had a fair bit of dancers throughout the show. Jose Mourinho was also on the show and had a similar lap dance performed on him. I imagine there's a better video, but I promise he's one of the pixels if you can't tell. You can also just search the name of the show and find about 30 lap/pole dance videos from the show.
There's actually a Studio Ghibli film about Tanukis called Pom Poko; it's one of my favorite animated movies. It's directed by Isao Takahata, who also directed Grave of The Fireflies.
It also features the only depiction of attack balls in a children's movie. Worth watching for that alone.
I'll just park this right here:
Stardust Comeback Talk - Run
Part 1 (interview starts @6:35)
I love this interview, they're all just having so much fun and not taking themselves too seriously!
The start of MC Jin, the iconic "saxophonist" line, and Jimin giggling until he disappears from view are some of the highlights!
Cultural clash I guess, people have been screaming in French lans for 18 years. Sweden is a lot more reserved and you pretty must have to be humble and quiet, that's why maikelele and MODDII never really fit. That's also why, besides the language barrier, internationnal teams can be very difficult with people coming from different cultural backgrounds.
Just for the luls, Ozstrik3r (current LDLC coach) in 2005, go to 4:25 ;)
> the plan was to send NJPW's Shinya Hashimoto to work a match against AJPW's Toshiaki Kawada, figuring it would do huge business and could jump-start a big NJPW vs. AJPW angle. But Motoko Baba shot down the plan, figuring (correctly) that the show was going to sell out without NJPW's help.
Big Hash and Kawada ended up having a match in 2004
Both men were not in their primes anymore but it's a great match.
not so much dirty, just not a character who'll take any shit
cruijff really struggled in those matches as far as I can tell
here's his performance in the match of this post
here's Cruijff's performance in the other leg
edit: the post actually contains clips from both.
This answer shows you really didn't do your homework there. There are much more evidence than what you mentioned and some is really not hard to understand for a layman. Like previous poster said we've literally watched it happen in front of us multiple times. My favorite example would be the silver fox experiment.
Ahh.. the one where Namjoon tells Jimin the difference between the peck and a kiss is where the tongue is 😂😊They were loopy with lack of sleep in that “Run” Show Champion backstage video which also has a lot of other gems. It’s one of my favorites of BTS just being themselves. Also where Suga talks about how his hair is fried and if he gets bald he will sue Bighit, where Jimin says the next MV after Run should be sleep and yeh concept is just sleeping. Where J Hope gets the dead eye when asked to shoot again. Yeah .. this video of BTS is one of my favourites 😊 https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3ttz7i
His goatposts just broke the sound barrier, they're moving that fast
I think this is the evidence which has forced Smart to suddenly backflip so hard he's at risk of whiplash
ahhhh, good old New Japan Pro Wrestling. Hard hitting as fuck.
This matchup is Katsuyori Shibata vs Hirooki Goto
These guys actually had another match against each other in January of this year Here's the match in full for those interested
(I had to move this from the top level as it's not a q)
I edited a TV show about this - it's quite fascinating. (There's no link that I can find, but it was a kids show for CBBC - UK). Interestingly, the girl in it had no idea that she was unusual - when her dad said she should get her hair cut she wondered how her friends would recognise her at school.
Edit: found the link!
The way we tried to explain it was to imagine looking at a field full of ducks and trying to identify each one by it's face - the human brain isn't designed to do that so they all look roughly the same. There seems to be a racial element to this as well - a westerner might say that all oriental faces look similar, but it's actually due to this part of the brain not being tuned to the oriental type of face - and vice versa.
I don't know if the bikini thing is raunchy per se, as it's just a reference to this song from 1960.
At least it's not "raunchy" in the context of Johnny Bravo itself (which was a pretty raunchy television show at least by the standards which children's cartoons are held to). For context, here is an episode of another show that would have aired on Cartoon Network around the same time as Johnny Bravo, which was parodying The Brady Bunch and shows a brother and sister making out.
Johnny Bravo commenting on a woman's bikini is pretty tame compared to that.
EDIT* Skip to about 0:35 for the scene in question. Also if I changed the last letter of my username to an E it would be incredibly close to your username.
If you actually want to know how it's made (like I did), then watch this: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xd6mq7
Video quality is poor, but it actually explains a bit of the process.
edit: this one, much prettier, shows how Cassia cinnamon is made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0mSpoth6xU (it's pretty similar)
Also recommending:
Nakamura vs Okada (https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4qnxbl) Nakamura vs Tanahashi (any of them really, but is this the first one I think of, http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x58bzmk)
There are sooo many more but start with those.
There's a reason so many people on this sub love him and it's nothing to do with Meltzer. Nakamura and Tanahashi are the reason I started watching NJPW.
I was driving on the turnpike last night through Elizabeth and all the plants right there reminded me of the intro to his NJ Parts Unknown episode. I just love that introduction since it perfectly describes my childhood going past those plants.
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5a4l78
So when I got home last night, I decided to watch it again. And then this news today.... crazy.
You're going to love this, then. Some slob is bragging in a restaurant about being a former SEAL, and the guy sitting next to him just happens to be active.
Apologies for the absurd quality of the video, this guy was streaming to a friend on his phone, who recorded with their phone, or something. Honestly, I'm not sure how the hell they managed to fuck up the video this badly but at least you can make out all the good stuff.
The Perfume collab and the final song: ~~http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5xejqb~~

Brock is pretty great at the 5 minute match. His match with Big Show back in 2002 was good.
Match in question. You know looking at this makes me appreciate their clash a year or so ago. Heyman has nearly as much history with Big Show as he does Brock Lesnar.
TYT is basically Breitbart. They treat Hillary like shit:

I was happily surprised by the popular reaction during this demonstration in Lille where the crowd started chanting "Fascists Out!" and pushed them back.
Just in case some of you don't know how good Johnny Saint was, here's a match he had with Mike Quackenbush in 2008 he was 66 at the time and it's maybe the best raw technical wrestling match I've ever seen - https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4cm7ir
Watch Nog vs Bob Sapp.
This was ultra juiced bob sapp. Like 350lbs and low body fat. Dude was bleeding roids here. And Sapp could slam and punch....
edit: gotta love Japan.. the fuckin crowd explodes when Nog just does a sitout at 6:25.
edit 2: Sapp was a straight up BEAST at this point. Jesus christ.
OK, now compare that to this.
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3g9ixs#tab_embed
Here we see Fox news reporting on something that never happened. It is a total fabrication to push an agenda and to scare their viewers.
What I see in your clip is a producer who might have misread something and thought it sounded interesting for his copy.
Meanwhile Geraldo is on the scene of an event that never happened.
The One Night Only PPV also featured the infamous interview of Shawn, allegedly, fingering Sunny during an interview. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2eeycy_shawn-michaels-promo-with-sunny-one-night-only-1997_sport
I strongly recommend anyone curious to watch the BBC documentary about slow lorises called Jungle Gremlins of Java which will make you properly angry every time you see a 'cute' video of a slow loris pet in the future. And lynch illegal pet traders/poachers.
'Black Hole' was pretty dark... and it was paired up with 'Stimpy's Invention', which was pretty damned dark and fucked up, too.

"We'll implode!"
> I'm looked at by my peers like I'm being ridiculous when I eat my turkey patty fried egg burger without a bun.
> Why can't people just mind there own fucking business
Oh, friend. This song isn't about you.
It's like when someone asks -- "How are you?" They don't want to know how you are. They want to think that they're the kind of person that cares how you are. But they actually do not care.
> Why can't people just mind there own fucking business
Because they'll just mess 'em up.

otoh we got a new jonathan meades documentary the other day which pretty much justifies the entire license fee that im not currently paying.
(the license fee isnt actually enforced. they just send you angry letters about it and eventually give up.)
Worth mentioning, this wasn't the commentator for the televised game in England. It was Steve Wilson and Martin Keown - and they did an amazing job. I will never forget Steve Wilsons commentary for this game. It added so much to the drama of what you were seeing, especially the fourth and fifth goals - "Martin - They've scored 4 times in the last 6 minutes..." lol
Most Americans probably know bubkes about the Jimmy Saville scandal, but it led to a huge revelation that Saville wasn't the only molester in British politics & entertainment. There were even a couple of Doctor Who appearances on "Jim'll Fix It". Dalek appearance in August 1975 Colin Baker appearance
>This was not at a pay per view event, either, but RAW.
Unfortunately, these were days before HD, so any recording of it online will be shit quality. But, fwiw, here's the segment
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1we8x
NSFW, I guess.
The ball was still going past goal, so it wasn't denying a goalscoring chance, and the ball was going nowhere near an area where any Australian players were, so as to prevent them possesion. The distance was also just as short.
Look at the overhead angle at around 0:20.
You really nailed it. Tony was one of us. He never pretended to be a three star guy, when he went back to Les Halles to work the line he called it turn and burn but it wasn't derogatory. It was just truth. He called it out. Good food was good food, bad food was sometimes good food too, and food without love was awful. Sometimes I thought of him as our patron saint, but in the end he was just one of us. As full of bullshit and dark humor as us. As fragile.
We lost a good friend today.

Hervé Kempf, Matthieu Auzanneau, Pablo Servigne, Jean-Baptiste Comby, Jean Gadrey, Jean-Marie Harribey, Serge Latouche (décroissant), Razmig Keucheyan, Daniel Tanuro (marxistes et écosocialistes).
That one was pretty freaky, and also Schisms, the scene where Riker, Worf, Geordi and an ensign are reconstructing the room they've all apparently been repeatedly abducted to whenever they'd sleep with their memory of it being suppressed. Can't find a good video of that scene, but the trailer for episode is pretty good.
Edit: Dailymotion has the whole episode: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x56kpus - start around 19:43 for a bit of context (there's more context throughout the episode though - I didn't really care for the other storyline in it but this one was pretty interesting)
Yeah, that was right before the S&F Music Festival. The crazy 25h shoot was for the BTS!Countdown (that was recorded on September 23rd-24th and aired October 12th). ~~This one had the "DNA" of each member and the old songs.~~
But I think the thing announced here is more comparable to the other Mnet show a bit earlier, the Comeback Show they did before any other music show appearances (on September 21st). It was live with some pre-recorded bits, and the first time we saw the live stages for DNA, Mic Drop and Go Go! I'd imagine this to be a similar case.
There is a great episode of Cosmos on the subject of dating the Earth, the Clean Room. Its a really interesting story, but the basic idea is the ratio of lead in materials to uranium. Interestingly, it was discovered just how polluted our environment was with lead during this experiment, since all the samples were heavily contaminated with environmental lead. Not only did we end up learning the age of the Earth, but we eventually ended the practice of putting lead into gasoline engines, among other incredibly bad uses of lead.
I couldn't find any versions of this beat on YT that had the "gimme some ganja" sample so I remade it myself.
The sample comes from a live version of Rick James' "Mary Jane" (1982): https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7szir_rick-james-mary-jane-live-1982_music
Enjoy!
I reference this video of an elderly russian man beating up 5 dudes. The SEAL wins.
At worst, the SEAL goes jogging as the nerds follow him. Around the 3 mile mark they die of heart-attacks from lack stopping due to no pain
Yup, I quickly learned that when I started watching the company vs what I had been told on here.
I haven't watched this match yet, but so far I haven't found a crowd that has eclipsed the one for when Ishii vs Shibata faced off for the first time in the G1 back in 2013.
This season made me quit watching Project Runway for a while. It still fills me with rage. At the time Michael's final collection was available to see on the internet and it blew Gretchen's away. It wasn't even close. I can't understand how she made it to Fashion Week and her win is a badge of shame Project Runway can never outlive. Notice how they never mention her or bring her back? There was even an episode on a later season with gowns from the winners and I looked for a gown from Gretchen but didn't see it.
Michael C should have been a finalist and Gretchen shouldn't even have made it past the 5th challenge.
OMG I FOUND IT! It was Season 10, Episode 7 the Lord and Taylor challenge. And go to something like 4 minutes where it clearly says "Season 8 Mondo" But that's weird because when I ask Google who won Season 8 of Project Runway it says Gretchen Jones.
EDIT 2: It’s at 4:11 and I finally got a screenshot they flash it for less than a second. This brings back all the anger. I just want to go on Yahoo and rage post about “Granny Gretchen” all over again.
This is the way I look at it, too. I had a hard time wrapping my head around body parts making it to the top of a building as tall as 90 West Street that far away but then I thought about the blast. She concludes that it probably came from the plane itself. I can imagine that initial collision sent some body parts flying, whether from passengers on the plane or from people directly in line with the collision.
I was really thinking about things today and I just can't imagine how many people were just pulverized immediately from such a blast. A plane is a very large, heavy object and to imagine it flying into a building at full speed like that is just mind-blowing. IMO the arguments that the World Trade Centers were "unsinkable" so the collapse couldn't have just been from the crash just don't take into account the force and damage of something like this.
I'm sure the World Trade Centers could handle some pretty massive explosions with ease but this was a whole different beast. Matter of fact there was quite the fire in the north building in 1975 that ended up doing $2,000,000 in damage (North Tower Fire) and a bombing in 1993 (1993 Bombing) and they were able to survive those.
