Atomas is still the best time waster game I've come across since seeing it in one of these threads weeks ago. Next to Threes, it's the best way I've found to kill ten minutes and play sessions survive device restarts which is great since each session can get a little long one you start picking up some tricks.
Atomas. It's like 2048 (two tiles make the next one and you need to make as big a tile as you can) but round and with chemical elements. I'm at 17176 right now and still playing.

I've really been enjoying the game Atomas, by Sirnic. It works fine with no connectivity. It has in-app purchases, but you don't need them.

I like Atomas. It's a really good puzzle time waster and you can put it down for a while if need be. I've been known to kill a minute or two hours on it.
I do believe that doing certain things while listening can help you stay more attentive. During CS lectures I often struggled with sleep deprivation and zoning out. At some point I started playing a very simple mobile game that was just interactive enough to keep me awake and present, while keeping the part of my mind, that processes new information, mostly free for something else (listening to the lecture/music). So somehow gluing my eyes and fingers to the screen allowed my ears to completely focus on listening.
I think this "side-task" can't just be anything. Nowadays I'm mostly busy with programming for work, and while I love having an album on in the background, it's usually mostly a blur that I'm hearing. My intellectual focus is on the programming, so there's nothing left for the music. However if you can do something "mindless" like playing a rather repetitive game, doing crafts, maybe drawing, or even some moderate sports, that could in turn allow you to better focus on really listening to the music.
Surely someone will be interested, so this is the game I was talking about. It even has a zen mode if I remember correctly, which is probably the perfect description for the kind of activity you can do while listening.

Check out Atomas >Your little universe starts with hydrogen atoms only but with the help of the energy rich plus atoms you are able to fusion two hydrogen atoms into one helium atom, 2 helium atoms into one lithium atom and so on. Your primary goal is to create the valuable elements like Gold, Platinum and Silver.
Or Atomas if you enjoy these types of games
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sirnic.atomas (not sure if it exists on iOS as well)
I liked the concept for 2048 but Atomas got me hooked
Atomos Great time-killing puzzle game. Uses the periodic table of the elements in a "fusion" format in order to ascend to higher elements (combine two Hydrogen to create one Helium). Instead of using a sliding tile format like 2084 or Threes, it uses a circle and you place the atoms.
Atomas. It's a fun easy game about setting up chains of symmetry in a circle with elements. I'm not doing it justice but you can find it here.
I've been playing Atomas a lot. You basically combine two elements together until you cannot combine them anymore. Google Play Link
Atomas! Please don't check it out if you have anything important to do in the next week.....

You should try Atomas next. Similar concept to 2048, but not quite the same game.
it is very very similar (almost identical) to the chemistry game about elements called Atomas
I've recently started playing Atomas which is great to kill some time.
Link to Google Play for my fellow Android brethren.

Atomas is really good for killing time. Simple, but there is more to it.
Reminds me of Atomas
Atomas consumed me for a solid week. Great game.
I'm a bit picky with my mobile games, but lately I have been enjoying:
Atomas: A molecular puzzle game. Edit: Just noticed you had already said Atomas, oops.
Best Brokers: A stock market simulation game based on the actual stock market prices and news.
Fading Light(Landscape Only): A light based platformer that I downloaded after a post on this sub from the dev a few weeks ago and have thoroughly enjoyed.
Motor Hero: An enjoyable motorcycle platformer.
Thumbdrift: A drifting/racing game.
Have you heard of Atomas ? It as lot in common and I really enjoyed "finishing" it =)

This fun little puzzle game called Atomas
I like Atomas, a little atom smashing game that makes me feel good because I can recite/learn elements while I play.

I like Atomas. It's quite relaxing, and just feels really nice.
Atomas A fun little mobile game that I find just as addicting as Dokkan.
Atomas. The game seems stupid and way too easy at first, but damn did I get hooked after playing a game.
Currently on Atomas. It doesn't really work that way in the real world, but it sure is entertaining.
this new game called Atomas i have been playing for a few weeks.
I like Atomas https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sirnic.atomas&hl=en good for a short break.
Atomas. You create mirror patterns to build up to larger chemicals. It's really fun.
