it's on Play. Have you gone to the desktop version of the store and installed it to your Shield that way? If you can't use Play store, APKPure has it and I've never had issues with their files.
Super Nintendo Emulator is awesome. I have the games saved on my SD card.

On another note, one of my go-to games when traveling is a game that is not super graphic intensive but addicting and challenging: super stickman golf

If other emulators are working fine, it’s def something with that emulator.
On multiple threads, YouTubers, and such I kept hearing about “Super Retro 16” as the best SNES emulator... I’ve been using it from the start, and no issues.
I’d honestly suggest just using a different emulator... SR16 is worth a shot.

I don't think you can mention ROM sites here but a quick Google search will give you answers.

I've been using SuperRetro16 with the 8BITDO SFC30 bluetooth controller. Works really well.

Go to www.coolroms.com and download any rom you want to play.
You can also download N64, PlayStation, gameboy, and other emulators. It passes the time and curves my gaming addiction.
No but I use to run snes emulators on all my previous android phones with no issues.
