Fake commercial script aside, it really is a pretty fun little game. A lot simpler and more lighthearted than the rest of the recommendations you're likely to get, but still very good. And the minigames range from simple tap at the right time games, to a neat little roguelight that requires good strategy to survive long in. That roguelight is honestly the main reason I'm suggesting it, because otherwise it doesn't quite fit what you want (rpg or point and click.) It's also why I keep coming back to it.

Hyrule Warriors Legends hype! Getting my copy after work! I'm kind of hoping that HWL has the max rupee glitch though, leveling all them characters takes a while. Just in time before I leave on Sunday for the Bahamas for a week, it'll be a nice change of weather considering it's icy raining/snowing/raining where I live. :D
Side note, I found a really cute Google App for anyone looking for a Tamagotchi-style game. It's called C'thulhu Virtual Pet and it's cute to death. :3 I had been looking for one for such a long time, glad to have found one that's pretty easy/simple and remains fun. :D
