I use Wunderground for both my widget and the website I go to on my PC and phone. I'm open to suggestions but always seem to come back to this app. Quickly being able to see if it's going to rain in the next couple hours/days or if the temperature is going to change dramatically(cold fronts) is important though so that's why I like it so much.
I've used Weather Underground for a couple years now and I find it to be the best of the ones out there in my experience.
I like Weather Underground the best. Radar is great and has a lot of options once you start playing with the layers (weather alert areas, storm tracks, crowd reports, weather stations, etc.).
The Weather Underground app will allow you to do just that. I also recommend changing to NWS forecast in the settings menu.
Agreed about Weather Underground. I like that is has current weather, radar, and a 7 day forecast all visible as soon as you open the app. The UI and layout have the best information density of any of the weather apps I've tried. Plus it has a dark theme, and no adds if you pony up a few bucks.
I don't think you're going to find a good app that will do this, any decent developer wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. "Yes, we're looking for an app that will drive the user directly into a storm front" is a pretty huge liability no matter how you spin it.
The Weather Underground app is pretty powerful and includes almost everything the desktop site does - the Wundermap is incredible and based on Google Maps. You're not going to get in-app turn-by-turn directions, but you can use GPS to show your location on the map and it's already overlaying Google Maps so you know when you switch over for navigation that any reference points you use to drop a pin would line up.
I use this for the opposite purpose, knowing when to detour from my GMaps route to avoid the worst of storms driving between service calls. The app gives you stuff like projected storm tracks for 20-40-60 minutes etc, so you can adjust your driving accordingly.

Tried it, but I still stick with Weather Underground, and Today Weather
I like using WeatherUnderground It has a unique community of weather enthusiasts reporting live data from weather stations in their own backyards, this crowd-sourced data generates forecasts targeted to your precise location.
I set my favorite weather stations (one about a mile from my home and a few others in locations that I go to frequently.) During the day I'm all over a 2 county area and I can pull up the weather for my next stop and usually webcams so I can see what the weather is like and see if I need to change my stops around.
I've been using weather underground for a while now. It has a large network of weather stations and it many app features.
I've been using Weather Underground as of late and have been pretty happy with it. I quite like the widgets, they're small and even change background color based on the temperature :)
I'd recommend Wunderground, it's beautiful, data driven charts is eye candy for the r/dataisbeautiful crowd, did I mention it's free?

Love their widget with a three-day chart of temperature and rain probability. I also use the Storm app for radar.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wunderground.android.weather
how to get temperature in the top bar? I just downloaded Weather Underground (one of the more relialbe weather apps I've found) and just allowed notifications
Just looked at my weather app, it has a panel with bars showing ozone, particulate matter and pollen. But currently says no data and I don't normally use that panel so I'm not sure if it's always broke or just temporary. Weather Underground
Then look for a better app. Sounds like it's using the browser for HTML5 support. Try uninstalling the default app or changing it to a new one. Try Weather Channel's app or WU.

Weather Underground porque levanta información de una estación cerca de mi casa y además tiene varias de mi cuidad así que es bastante precisa.
For a weather widget I would recommend Wunderground
Android is a very screwed up eco-system where updates are few and far between no matter how badly a patch is needed, if you haven't gotten a notification for an update I doubt one is available.
u/reishka is correct, it's a persistent notification from a weather app. Weather Underground if I'm correct in my guess. I have it, and it leaves the current temp of my area up there on the second screen.

I'll look into the solar turbine... thanks!
I don't know what options there are for a multi-sensor unit with remote viewing, regarding temp & r.h., but the weather station (at the right in my photo) is tied into the Weather Underground and can be seen by anyone anywhere via the interwebs. There's a WU phone app that lets you see the outdoor info.
Weather Underground. It's been good to me. Notifies you about heat waves, haze and what not including the standard day/hour weather info.
I used Weather Underground's android app, and for the most part it worked out ok for me. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wunderground.android.weather&hl=en
I'm not sure if it's specifically what you're looking for. It kept updated with where I was and current temperatures.
You must be terrible at searching or something. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wunderground.android.weather
I really like Weather Underground's app.
I like to use Weather Underground. I've tried a few and settled on this since it was good for me and free.
I prefer Weather Underground
That's the name of the website. This is the android app, idk about iOS.

Weather Underground because of this graph:

And even better, the hour by hour graph. https://imgur.com/OMOBhU8.jpg
Weather Underground has a dark theme--from the UI to notifications. Love it.
Weather Underground has this.
Weather Underground is really nice after the latest update.
Are you talking about this one? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wunderground.android.weather
I don't know how much they actually use, but Weather Underground for Android.
It appears to be, worse yet it's an iPhone only weather app.
Here's a list of good weather apps for Android if you really need one.
Weather Underground
1Weather
Accuweather
Weather timeline
I also really don't like this application based on a few other things. According to the graphics, it's showing where your friends are as well as the atmospheric pressure of that area. That could potentially be used to track people. If it's taking a reading very often, it could affect the battery life on any device.
Then there's the social aspect itself, which I don't like. Weather is a fast moving phenomena, it can change in seconds and for most people it's an afterthought. Apps like Waze and GasBuddy can get away with it, because traffic affects many people and gas prices don't change frequently. Traffic and gas prices are also objective, you don't have much to guess when your in grid-lock or are looking at a gas station sign. Accurate weather reporting requires a few tools or at least some experience.
These tools are why weather stations exist, there are usually at least a couple of them in a town constantly feeding the latest readings into a database. That database is what most weather apps use.
Even if human weather reporting were accurate, you have excluded a pretty big group of people who could report to your app by going iPhone only. Apps that rely on user input for information should make their app accessible to as many people as possible for a map of information that has less holes. most Android devices made in the last few years also have a barometer in them, so it's not like there's a hardware limitation here.
I really like Weather Underground
Weather Underground https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wunderground.android.weather
Weather Underground has all that. It also has ties for using it in IFTTT which is nice.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wunderground.android.weather
I really like Weather Underground. Screenshot in dark mode
I use the Wunderground weather app.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wunderground.android.weather&hl=en_US
It'll display weather in your notification bar by default.
I've tried out a few and finally stuck with Wundergound.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wunderground.android.weather&hl=en_US
Wunderground isn't bloated at all. You can also control what is shown on the main page, to de-bloat it.
Weather Underground is pretty cool, and has several different widget sizes with different content to choose from.
It's a built-in widget with the Weather Underground app, only the greatest weather app of all time.
Search your zip in the top-left. Here's the tornado warning (refresh for latest info).
If you're on Android, you might also try these:
Then try a better weather app.
Weather Underground is so far has the best weather forecast for Vancouver.
Google Playstore link
If you like widget, then use Transparent Weather Widget and set the weather source as WUnderground.
If you are iPhone user, you will find these apps in apple store.
That's the result of my 'research' of Vancouver weather, thank me if it helps!
The Weather Underground app can enable fronts as a layer on it's map. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wunderground.android.weather
If you're still liking the vibe of Storm, try this out and see if it favours Europe a little more. Same devs. :)
I've never used these in the UK, so I'm not positive how well these do outside of North America. It may be in the app's details. Sorry!
WeatherBomb, solely for radar and quite detailed at that. Wind direction feature not great. Works worldwide. Home widgets available.
Weatherzone, a bit more of a run-of-the-mill weather app, but has lots. Exact location current weather, radar, detailed future info, has environmental warnings embedded. UV/Pollen, all that. Better widget. If you're into this stuff, it has winter ski and trail info as well as things like sunrise, sunset, tides. Just over $1 but worth it if you're looking for lots of info in an easy nav app. Geared to Aus, not sure about UK accuracy, may be in reviews.
WeatherBug, very simple and minimal appearance, has all the necessities. Radar, Traffic somewhat, lightning, environmental alerts pushed. Notifications available. Seems to have a few bugs lately. Won an 'Appy'?
Last one, I don't think you're worrying about hurricanes, actually neither do I, but I want to point out that SeaStorm is darn cool. Very interesting and informative to track hurricanes (and other smaller tropical storms). They happen more often than we hear about!
I use the widget from Wunderground
Eh. Been loving the new release of weather underground personally. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wunderground.android.weather
They also have a Storm app for iOS that has future radar and lightning etc.
Wunderground is pretty good. They have both Android and iOS apps.
EDIT: Added missing text.
Weather Underground is supposed to be really great, especially in a more populated area.
