A Google search will turn up many possibilities but I keep coming back to designing my own all-in-1 spreadsheet that exactly fits my needs and wants. Google Sheets has a GoogleFinance() function that retrieves live data. The spreadsheet runs on the computer, tablet and smartphone.
If you are looking for an Android app to track your holdings and the market, this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dayup.stocks&hl=en continues to be my absolute favorite on-the-go readable-at-a-glance live data. Bullet proof over years from a responsive developer. I really like the simple screen in large type, and there is news and graphs. Don't mean to make sound like a commercial but I just like the design.
I'm not sure if there is an iOS version, but if you are on Facebook look at https://www.facebook.com/Stocks-234157000351979/ to get more info. I am not on FB.
HTH. YMMV.
I gave up on Google Finance/Stocks. Their new "Material" design sucks. Little/no detailed information. And there's so much white space, it looks like a highschooler that's trying to make their paper's longer by adding extra margin and spacing between each line.
I've switched to Webull. Their desktop website and mobile app are top notch. Information dense and real time quotes. They also offer portfolio tracking so you can simulate buy/sells.
I would suggest Webull.
Stick to the full blown stock trading app but only select exchange rates on the home page. The free ver. does everything you need. The ads are not the ones that stand out as a sore thumb but related to stocks and are blended with the app UI that even i tend to miss it most times.
Any stock trading or quotes viewing app directed towards a subset of trades is pretty bad and either asking for and/ filled with bad ads for something that looks straight from 2010. Exception to this would be those crypto apps which are really well designed (atleast most of them are).
I use WeBull. You put in your trades and the price, and it charts out profit/loss in a load of different ways. Good free live data.
Yeah I think Europe is missing a Personal Capital / Mint alternative.
I track net worth in an Excel sheet - rows for each bank account, asset, or loan - and columns by month.
And I track my investment portfolio with the WeBull android app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dayup.stocks
I use Webull - Realtime Stocks Market & Investing App (Beta)
I think it is fast, tracks dividends..the works.

Webull, Stocks - Realtime quotes is the best app I've ever used for this. Smooth, extensive, super clean interface, and you can keep multiple portfolios and watchlists ofc.
And I believe you can input your own transactions to follow your investments closely.
I use the TD WebBroker App which is live, even better than the Advanced Dashboard for OTC stocks. But I also have the Stocks app in google play, it has a nice widget and links to my google finance portfolios. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dayup.stocks&hl=en
Shows up on mine, I checked top 10 stocks and confirmed alerts button on individual. Webull 6.4.7.23 Android latest. Maybe it's broken for iOS version
In Webull you can simulate your holdings. You can also do paper trading in the app. Another app that I use is TradingView for charting.
[Webull](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dayup.stocks&hl=en_US) is fantastic for paper trading and watching the economy die
The best Android app I have found for tracking portfolio performance is Webull:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dayup.stocks
Ignore the "live trading" section and just manually enter your portfolio in "simulation holdings". They have data on price, NAV, dividends, etc. for funds and ETFs, and the standard line/pie graphs for your portfolio.
Most brokers will show you this pretty clearly, they keep your cost basis (what you paid) and there will be somewhere on their site or app you can go and see exactly how much you gained or lost on your investments. They ALL record this, as they need to spit it back out for you come tax time, the IRS needs to know exactly how much you made or lost.
Alternately you can do it manually yourself in Excel. Or better- Google Sheets, as you can use =GOOGLEFINANCE("Ticker") to pull in the exact current price automatically.
Or alternately you can use an app, you just enter what you bought and what you paid for it, when, and it will tell you how much you have now and how much you have lost. Or gained, if that's your thing. That lets you easily see at a glance how investments at different brokers are doing.
I like Webull for this, which is a great app in general. Just stick what you own into a portfolio and it will keep track of it all for you, with nice red graphs:

I like Webull. Really nice simple interface, lots of features, lots and lots of markets and real time data on many of them. Certainly covers TSX and just about every other major market.

On my android I use Webull (aka Realtime Stock Quotes), you can sync with your google finance portfolios until google cut it, but it's a way to easily transfer your stocks to another application

Try this, I recently switched to it after the lse feed issues and am very impressed. UI is slower than my previous but functionally it is well beyond.

Remove the Thank you for using popf hope you enjoy it popup.
Also remove the welcome popup "this is where you add your stocks" it's pretty obvious what the screen is for.
For me, too many popups ruin the user experience. I don't want to keep expecting popups and clicking something accidentally.
Once you add your first portfolio and press submit, you get the popup to name it. Then it goes back to the stock screen. It shouldn't. It should go back to the main screen once the portfolio is named. When it goes back to the stock screen, it means that the portfolio wasn't created.
Also, rename the Submit option to Save. And remove it from the + button and keep it somewhere else.
Also, why does the app check for updates everytime it starts up? Aren't the updates handled via Play Store?
I find your app very confusing. There's no flow from one screen to another. Your Stock Board option is in the + button. Ideally I'd have placed it in a hamburger menu on the top left.
Take a look at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dayup.stocks
Just create a new portfolio with a few stocks and you'll see that the portfolio shows as zero value.

You can use Stocks app in google play store. It is free and has realtime data for Rebubble Ltd. It enable realtime streaming quotes with only 3M of your memory storage. Quite useful and I am afraid it would charge for value-added services since it is so popular. I have found a good stock app and just want to recommend you guys to have a try. It is the lightest compared with others like yahoo finance, MSN, investing.com, while it provides whatever financial information or quotes you need. Live and quick quotes. Download in the google play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dayup.stocks

I use Stocks - Realtime https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dayup.stocks&hl=en
It doesn't look pretty, doesn't have all sorts of features like the other apps, but it has Google Finance sync support which is where I put my portfolio. For that alone, I think it's fantastic and I wouldn't touch any app that didn't have it (surprisingly, most of the alternatives don't).
It is but the closest thing i have found that resembles google finance...this is the "share link" from the mobile app
Recommend a simple and efficient Android stock quotes app - Stocks, brings you streaming real-time quotes. Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dayup.stocks
i checked out the play store and i think i downloaded a different app which shows up as stock spy. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dayup.stocks&hl=en
this is the link after searching on my computer (not mobile device). Does this look like the app you are describing ?
You need to try out Webull. Their phone app is amazing. And their online app which it syncs to is pretty good as well. They've recently built in stock trading through their app, but it's in no way required.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dayup.stocks&hl=en_US
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/webull-free-stock-trading/id1179213067?mt=8
Try out this site: https://app.webull.com/
The also have a desktop app apparently: http://www.webull.com/download
Their mobile app (which syncs across), is BY FAR the best app for tracking stocks. Has everything from Portfolios to Alerts. Can even do Crypto tracking as well.
Edit: Also, fuck Google and their new shittier Finance website.
If you want to keep the track of share prices.
Try Webull Stock tracker.

My preference for Android is Webull.

Webull kann ich nur empfehlen!
This app that syncs with Google Finance is fantastic. No way I'd consider using their mobile site over this.

There's only one in the Android app store. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dayup.stocks
If you can see the fund on google finance uk then you should be able to track it using the stocks app on android
