I use Rec for screen recordings and then converted it to a gif using ezgif.com because I know how much Reddit prefers GIFs. I don't know of any apps that save it directly as a gif sorry :/
I didn't write this article, just posting with permission from the author.
> Also, would it be possible to capture a video feed of what is being displayed on your phone screen?
Well, if it's full screen you could capture it just like software for game recording works.
Since Android 4.4 there are some hooks in the API to make screen recording easier, here is an example
In my post I said I installed "Rec. Screen Recorder" from Google play, and used it to simply record the gif playing on my device. The only catch is for the app to work, you either have to have 5.0 Lollipop installed or have a rooted device. That's also why I added "Sort of..." to my title. It's more of a work around than actually solved, I guess.
Thanks man! Glad you like it.
I use rec. screen recorder
It should do what you want,- I also used to use kitkat's built in screen recording via adb.
It seems that your comment contains 1 or more links that are hard to tap for mobile users. I will extend those so they're easier for our sausage fingers to click!
Here is link number 1 - Previous text "Rec"

At first I was wondering what the flashing red dot meant, then I realized it was the recorder, lol.
Next time, you can use this app to record, it doesn't overlay any watermarks while recording (for free or pro users), so I suggest you give it a go.
Sweet theme though :)
Wouldn't have been easier to use something like Rec to record a video and then post it on Youtube instead of loading a gif/mp4?
Looks interesting though! Installing it now!
I misinterpreted... thought you were taking screenshots/stills in sequence and displaying them as a gif like stop-motion animation.
there's this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spectrl.rec&hl=en
You need to direct them to the AQ for them to distract while your heroes and wizards kill her and the cc, that air defense was just on the way.
I use REC. app and my nexus 5 phone.
Why not use a screen recording app? There are quite a few on the play store, and they all work fine with the S7. I use this one:

I'm might be a little biased - I made the app - but give Rec. a go.
I made this with one called Rec. Worked pretty well.
Looks like "Rec." from the icon https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spectrl.rec
I'd recommend Rec It's pretty simple to use, but you do need to start recording in advance.
I use Rec. And it records both internal and external audio separately or together!
I use an app called Rec. . It works pretty well.

I use Rec. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spectrl.rec there's no built in feature like the Z3
Try using this App

I liked this simple one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spectrl.rec
Besides Venom, this would also help you a lot in future.

use pro its so good
Rec. works well for me. Options for portrait/landscape and audio on/off
Thanks for answering. 3121 points!!! The 835 Snapdragon chip is even better than expected.
The Z5 Premium's 810 chip arrives to the 1663 points in this best test, as you can see in one of my videos. I also have a video capture of the test, although you have to keep in mind that the score goes down a lot by the capture itself. But I leave you out of curiosity.
I guess this test has been done in FullHD mode. You will surely be interested to know that in 4K mode the results in the Z5Premium are, surprisingly, better.
Maybe another test in 4K or a capture in 4K with the app REC of a game like Galaxy VR (with which you can see the frames or second and the resolution in the debug screen) or Tuscany Dive (to be well known) is asking too much,
I use Rec. which is pretty good. You can choose bit rates and resolution which can come in handy
You need root then. I'd recommend Rec.
It looks like Rec., which only requires root on 4.4 KitKat. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spectrl.rec
Rec. (Screen Recorder) works great.
A screen recording app is what you're looking for - Rec is supposed to be pretty good.
I use Rec (Screen Recorder) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spectrl.rec&hl=en
I've made an app called Rec. that will do what you're after. Or use adb screenrecord.
