Some icon packs actually put any non-included icons through a theme filter, so to speak, and some of them look really good.
The Cryten Icon Pack does this the best, in my opinion. Its filter brightens the icon, enlarges it a bit, and then cuts it into a circle, and it works great for almost every single icon I have that isn't included (which is a lot).
I have an icon pack with folder icons, looks pretty clean when I use those.

I do need to find a better wallpaper.
Edit 2: Since a few people asked, the icon pack is Cryten. The "sale" is permanent so no rush to buy it.
I used Cryten for the longest time before switching to the more minimal Lines Free.
It was only $0.99 but it had practically everything and would get consistent updates/new icons. Plus, it's got this flat, minimal look with faded colors and goes pretty well with any theme without being too flashy or out there.
I don't use it anymore on my home screen, but I still use it for the icons in the app drawer. No regrets with the purchase.

Question
Is there a particular reason the theme is locked? There are some changes I want to make that I can't because of this, I would also like to export the theme with my changes so I won't lose it if I'll decide to factory reason or something similar.

Edit: To clarify it's a 2 page setup in Nova with the widgets on page 1 and page 2 as the main page. My grid size is 9x5 but any size will work, just get the widgets lined up with the background.

As a typical android guy who loves customisation, I constantly change the way my home screen looks but somehow I keep on going back to these setup as it fits my needs perfectly.
The white dots open my favrt apps while the green one is a folder consisting of app use very often a swipe on the dot open up the photos app
