Forcaster weather app doesn't have a lot of installs, but it's my favorite. It's quick, simple, uses Dark Sky weather, and doesn't take any clicks or scrolls to see the weather for that day and week.
It might not have enough detail for people that are really into weather, but for me it's just right.
For those who find Flowx too busy, check out Forecaster (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fred.weather3). It has a similar hour-by-hour view of the weather but is much more minimal and only shows you what you (most of us) need to know (precipitation, temperature, wind). Strongly recommended, one of my favourite apps of all time.
[DEV] Forecaster is now powered by WeatherKit (Apple's updated version of Dark Sky)
Dark Sky is back, in the form of Apple WeatherKit! They offer a lot more free usage than Dark Sky did, so I'm hoping to keep it free and ad-free but powered by WeatherKit including their minute-by-minute hyperlocal rain forecasts. Let me know what you think!

Another weather app - Forecaster. Not quite weather timeline but if you don't like looking at grids of icons for your forecast it's worth a look.
I like Forecaster, very clean and minimal: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fred.weather3&hl=en

Uses the same data Dark Sky uses
I bought Forecaster the other day and it's excellent. Nice and simple line layout with all the information you need on a line by line basis for each day.
The paid one is even better IMO. better layout, and current forecast.
this is basically ALL i was asking for from a weather app and its finally delivered. I never could get on board with Weather Timelines weird design. time to finally ditch it.
I like Forecaster ... I even made a klwp based on this
Forecaster is what you are looking for https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fred.weather3
Good article. I think it's easy to come in with really high expectations for the accuracy of weather forecasts, but it's actually pretty amazing we can predict the weather as well as we can. I read that today's three day forecasts are now more accurate than one day forecasts were in the 80s (source). DarkSky just recently launched a new forecasting model which is supposed to be more accurate, particularly for non-US/UK countries. Hopefully things will keep improving.
Full disclosure: I'm the dev of Forecaster

Not free but this is a nice app.
I really like Forecaster
Forecaster does something similar but looks so much clearer to me.
Not as comprehensive as Weather Timeline was, but check out Forecaster.

Was here, but developer took it down.
Forecaster is good but hasn't been updated since last year.
Forecaster, for sure:
Where is the free version of Forecaster? The only one I see is $0.99 at: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fred.weather3
