Walmart and Real Canadian Super Store price match, painlessly. Use the Flipp app. No need to visit any specific store in this day and age.
Flipp is really awesome because you can easily clip coupons in the app and it adds the items to your list for you. It also shows you deals on items on your list. And when you're inside some grocery stores, it actually tells you which aisle things are in.
Since this deal is featured on their flyer for Canada, you can price match it at your local Walmart. If you do not have the physical flyer, you can show it to them on your phone so long as both the date and location are visible. I would recommend using Flipp for this case since it just makes the whole thing easier on mobile. Flipp does rely on your postal code in order to determine which stores to show you, but you can change it in the settings so that Best Buy shows up.
Try the Flipp App. You can scan all local grocery's flyers and compare prices between stores and get coupons. Here is the android link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wishabi.flipp I'm sure there is an ios app.
The Flipp app tells me that Sobeys/Safeway has them for 77 cents a pound this week.
Which means everyone else does too, just do a price match at your local store, no need to even shop around.
Try this app Flipp (android link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wishabi.flipp&hl=en Apple: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/flipp-weekly-ads-shopping/id725097967?mt=8)
You can search for the grocery and other stores near you. The app will download their ads for you and you can flip through the ads to see what stores have what.
I don't know if this App works where you are, but I use this one called Flipp. You can type anything you want, brand name or item; and it will find you the lowest price out of all the circulated flyers in your area. Great for comparing prices and narrowing down which store to get more bang for your buck that week.
The app Flipp is a good way to compare your local stores and their respective weekly ads for deals and sales each week per their flyers. This helped me save a little money shopping for groceries, and you can star certain items to see what the cheapest in town is!
Another vote for Flipp app, Best flyer aggregator and search engine in my opinion

Oops. Just noticed you wanted one with a widget list. This doesn't have that, but I'm leaving it here anyway because it's great.
Edit : the Linkme bot got it wrong. That's not the one. See link above.
Link me: Flipp
Flipp aggregates flyers from your local area so you could make a list of flyer clippings (in app) with prices and calculate yourself. Not optimal but it’s something.
edit: it’s actually this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wishabi.flipp
To help start and motivate you, I would recommend /r/eatcheapandhealthy and /r/frugal.
Now, like the top answer, cooking for yourself is the cheapest option. I used to eat out a lot and found it difficult to start cooking, so I decided to cook once a week, then once I got used to that, I cooked twice a week, and so on and so on. The habit stuck, and now I pretty much cook and eat from home. My fiancee and I almost always cook a nice meal instead of going out to a restaurant now.
If you're single, don't buy a Costco card – you won't likely save enough money to cover the cost of membership unless you eat a lot. Of course, Costco is great if you are providing for a family. But every other grocery store can be just as good.
You need to be willing to shop at different grocery stores if you want to save money. Walmart, Superstore and No Frills usually have cheaper prices. Some people are wary of these stores because they cater to lower incomes, but honestly, the food is usually just as good. You will also find great prices on seafood and other types of food at Asian supermarkets, such as T&T Supermarket, Hong Kong Supermarket or Lucky Supermarket. Mentioning these cheaper places does not mean I think you shouldn't shop at places like Co-op, Safeway, Sobey's, etc.. You can find plenty of good deals on high-quality food.
I would highly recommend downloading a flyer app like Flipp, which is available for (Android)[https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wishabi.flipp&hl=en] and (iOS)[https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/flipp-flyers-coupon-matchups/id725097967?mt=8]. Basically you are able to see all the grocery flyers from Calgary and clip out deals that you like. Every week I like to check out the deals from these app and base a weekly/monthly meal plan on it. Co-op has a huge flyer, so I usually end up buying from there, but No Frills usually has the cheapest prices ever. It's really quite amazing.
You can also help pay for your trip to Co-op, Giant Tiger or Save on Foods by clipping coupons with the Coupgon app for (Android)[https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coupgon.coupgon&hl=en] or (iOS)[https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/coupgon-inc./id734232724?mt=8]. Sure, a dollar here to there does not sound like much, but when you commit to shopping frugal, the savings add up.
Another shopping tip you might want to consider is buying in bulk. For me, I eat a lot of fish, and whenever I catch a great sale, I'll buy enough for a month. Sales like that don't usually happen, but after about month or so, you'll see the same type of sale popup, and just when I'm out of fish, I'll buy at the same cheap price again. It takes some strategy, but you'll start to get a good idea of when good deals will happen after some time.
I would say the best way to save money is just buy cutting down on habits that cost money. This means if you like going to the pub with friends, you may want to cut that down to only once a week or even month. I found that I would go out to the pub after slo-pitch and on the weekend, and it would cost about $30 every time. That's over $240 on a typical month. I decided to cut pubs to once a month and I save a lot. If this is something you're not willing to do, you can always consider eating before/after the pub and just having a beer or two. There's a lot of other habits that you can cut down on, and that will just take some analyzing on what you do in a typical month.
Finally, I just want to say that you may want to consider eating different types of foods. Meat can get very expensive. You don't need to cut it completely, but learn to eat it only on occasion - trust me, you appreciate it more if you eat it less. Consider switching to super cheap, super easy to cook and super healthy foods like lentils, beans, rice or potatoes. I find that these foods give you the best bang for your buck, not just in the bank, but also the filling to calorie ratio (what that means is, you could eat much, much more grams of rice for the same amount of calories in chicken). Lentils and beans easy to make foods that are very low in fat and high in carbs and protein. Who needs meat when you have these? Rice and potatoes are easy to make foods that are very low in fat and super, super high in carbs. I cannot stress enough how healthy these foods are, yet how cheap and filling they are too.
use the flipp app. Save your money

I use Flipp for groceries. Great app.
Not to be a jerk, but doesn't Flipp already do a pretty good job of this?

Not sure anyone will see this but Flipp probably does more than you ever wished a grocery list app would be able to do...
My family prefers Flipp. You can share lists, but it also includes all the flyers for the local stores.
also on android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wishabi.flipp
Flipp is pretty neat.
I can't believe people using a computer device to access Reddit are too stupid to search on the internets
