What is Reddit's opinion of The UESO App?

If you're on console, "the eso app" is great for skyshards, lorebooks, etc. Xbox/NA also has "eso price check" for pricing.

PC doesn't really have apps, they have add-ons.

If you're on console with no access to addons, I'd recommend spending a dollar and getting this app. You can filter any zone to show lorebooks, or skyshards, or a bunch of other things. It's really great. I think the name of the app may be different for Apple but you can get it there as well.

It helped me find all the ones in Stonefalls and Deeshan with only one or two out of place, but those out of place ones I found through random exploration.

The app is also useful because it works like a checklist so when you find a book or skyshard you can remove it from your map.

If you need additional storage space there are in-game bag and bank upgrades, storage containers, and you can start new characters and use them for extra storage.

ESO does not have a central Auction House. Sales are player-to-player or through Player Guilds that have a Guild Store for member-to-member sales and possibly a Guild Trader Kiosk that all players in-game can access to buy from the same Guild Store.

To join a Player Guild, you need to research what they focus on and if it meets your needs. Be sure you can meet any requirements to join and remain a member. Then follow the instructions to join.

If you ever get stuck or the game seems off/not loaded correctly, Open the txt chat and put in /reloadui , then hit square , then send it . . It's like a Dos command and reloads the User Interface .

Now, Milk the tutorial, open every urn you can find, [think like link] get gear and equip 3 of a type eg: heavy and it unlocks the skill line for it, then repeate for medium & Light. pickup and use each weapon too to unlock it's skill line. Now don't run through it !! kill everything, do it all and when you exit you can be at level 3/4-ish (Since you have no xp scroll).

Now, upon exit of tutorial , find the nearest wayshrine, travel to your "Starter City" for your faction, NOTE: you must all be IN the same faction to PvP together & unless you have "Any race - Any Alliance" bought your character you create will determine what Faction you are in. (look it up in the guide) Now in the starter city, find the Guilds for Mages & Fighters and join them. Now go find a Hooded figure, talk to it, it starts the Main Story. ( Some of the things you do are SOLO ONLY in stories).

In the guide or on that site find the crafting inf and start learning it ASAP !

Get a Mount & train it daily at a stable in any city, start with speed 1st, it helps !

Stop and get an idea of which traits you have for what pieces so far.

There are only a few traits that you really want to get before others:

For Armor - PVE - Training (if still leveling) - Infused - Divines For Armor - PVP - Impenetrable

For Weapons - Precise, Infused, Nirnhoned, sharpened, powered for healing staff

Get those traits first as your first number of set traits on a complete set of gear, then get the additional number of traits for each higher required set on those same pieces.

After you have the number of traits for all the sets you want, you can just get the rest as they come.

Ok sorry, I was thinking of skill leveling and not the quest chain. But yeah I think it was always that way as well, because it was always easier on alts to just farm all the books at once since I always wanted the Meteor/Ice Comet ultimate as soon as possible for my Templars.
