I believe you only see the update because the app was already associated with the play store. However, if you've uninstalled or installed the app via apk... The app doesn't even show up in the Play store.
Edit: Yeah, isn't searchable... But can browse directly to it:

Rewardable TV works pretty good on Android tablets. Just run it and click on one of the options under the watch tab. Feel free to use my referral code if you want: AMALIK9 I believe you will get a $0.50 bonus and I will get some bonus as well. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rewardable.rewardabletv&hl=en
I used to run perk on my farm (two for perk tv and two for PPQ). I would make about $10/week. But they have really screwed up their payouts and a lot of people are getting screwed over. So I moved my phones to running Rewardable TV. I have about 3 phones running it right now (the fourth one is having a battery issue) and I have make $3.75 up to right now and I started running them around 6 P.M. yesterday. I would also see what they are saying over at r/perktv

I think everybody should report them to Google so they either fix the problem or get shut down. You click "Flag as inappropriate" under "Report" on the Play Store page for the app. Then choose "Apps & Games." Then, if you're using a computer, click on "report inappropriate apps form" under "Using your computer." Then choose "Other objection" under "Reason for flagging *". You can copy and paste the same reason I gave in my reply email under "Please explain briefly why you flagged the app." It will fit. Then you'll receive an email for more information. I'll copy and paste the email I received and my replies if people want to give the same info.
1. Yes. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rewardable.rewardabletv&hl=en
4. This is a rewards app that earns money from ads, and users earn points from viewing different content like videos, movie trailers and GIFs. Points can then be redeemed for cash payments through PayPal. Right now a large amount of users are reporting losing chunks of points from their balance which is lost money. I believe this puts the app in violation of "Deceptive Behavior" and "Misleading Claims" policies. I'm providing links to posts on reddit where a large amount of users are reporting this happening. https://www.reddit.com/r/RewardableApp/comments/5ry36a/pending_pointsgoinggoinggone/ https://www.reddit.com/r/RewardableTV/comments/5ry9jh/rewardabletv_app_taking_away_money/ https://www.reddit.com/r/beermoney/comments/5s0e7t/tons_of_users_reporting_acorns_lost_from_using/ https://www.reddit.com/r/beermoney/comments/5rz0qc/rewardable_tv_is_a_scam/

Earn honey has been pretty good for my desktops IMO Ref / Non-Ref and RewardableTV is a pretty good app if you don't mind waiting a week or 2 for payments, though they have been actively working to reduce payout wait times according to their sub r/RewardableTv, Ref: JHALL73 PlayStore Link other than that u/Fishering has a few good post summing up other common sites Perk vs CheckPoints vs Cake vs SBTV vs YooLotto/YooRewards vs Rewardable TV vs MyPoints TV vs VideoLab vs Earnhoney/TVGlee vs EngagemeTV vs App Trailers vs Adfun vs Inbox Dollars - Where should your phones be? Rewardable TV - Watch and Chat (no idea what the chat is about) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rewardable.rewardabletv&hl=en
Another I would recommend is RewardableTV. They are new and have some issues they are working on and the devices take some babysitting, but they are the highest paying app per device for me at this point (could change.. all these programs are up and down). They allow 7 devices per IP. I havent failed to earn at least $3 a day with running about 4-5 devices. One extremely good day I went over $8. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rewardable.rewardabletv if you use my code Boxenreider you get some kinda bonus but I honestly dont know what it is.
Rewardable TV is a new one. It works pretty much the same as Perk TV except you are watching gifs instead of videos. They pay out 3 points after every ad. 1000 acorns (the name of the points) equals 1 dollar and you can use up to 7 devices. Currently you can only redeem with PayPal. For me at least it pays way better than Perk so I switched over my small farm to it.
One thing worth noting is that it's still in beta so there are some bugs. I know quite a few people have been having issues so maybe I'm lucky.
If you want to try it out you can use my referral code (KPERRY18) when signing up to get $0.50.
They have a pretty active subreddit too: /r/rewardableapp
Rewardable TV.
You can use up to 7 devices. So far I've been using only 1 at various times throughout the day and I'm making $1 a day like that. I'm sure if I had more phones or ran this 24/7 I'd be making a lot more.

If you'd like, you can use my referral code: PIOLIN
You get 50 bonus cents on your first task. They have another app simply called Rewardable where you can do tasks for money but I haven't used that so I'm not sure what tasks are. Also I'll make 10% of whatever you make for 20 days.
Minimum cashout is $10 and I believe they only let you cashout using PayPal.
