~~Don't spread false information. GPS Joystick works perfectly fine.~~ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en_US
Edit: I am an idiot. Both are the same app. Ignore me.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en
This. You need to enable the privacy mode, that will generate a new installation with random name. But that's only the first part. The following steps will require root permission, so if you are not comfortable with that I would advise against it.
You will need to locate the installed APK with new random name using a root explorer, I use ES file explorer. The location can be different for different devices, mine is under /data/app. Move the apk into a new folder under /system/priv-app. Uninstall both the Ninja GPS installed earlier. and reboot the device. You should see that the gps spoofer is back as system app (non-removable). Now if u run the spoofer, the system will not ask for mock location permission.
Hope it helps.
Edit: I forgot to mention, you will need systemless root. The only one i know is Magisk. Download it from xda and use your Magisk to hide root from play store. You cts profile should be green or else you won't be able to log into pogo.
Hi everyone,
I have just found an app that takes your initial altitude (most probably from google) and then gives a random altitude to pokemon go based on a range around the initial altitude. Therefore, the altitude never stays the same, which in some way mimics the altitude given by a standard phone.
I would like to see if anyone has already used this app and what are your findings/reviews.
The app is free on play store. I am not sure if I am allowed to share apps here, in case I am not allowed please let me know and I will remove the link asap.

One app that the article and other people don't seem to mention anymore, but still works great and was one of the most popular apps in the early days of spoofing:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
The dev is on reddit (u/theappninjas) and is pretty good about responding to people both here and thru email.
(Sorry about the ping app ninjas. Just showing support for one of the original spoof pioneers!)
Wouldn't you be caught cheating, since you're moving a long distance? anyway don't judge, but I use this on Pokémon GO :3 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en
Here's the app link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
1.Install the app.
2.Open the app.
3.At the top you should see 'privacy mode' (or something similar) written in red near the top. Click on that. Select generate.
4.Choose whatever name you would like.
5.Install this clone with the name you gave it. (you need to enable all installation from unknown sources to do this, but the app should prompt you to do so during the installation process)
6.Make sure the clone app is now there.
7.Delete the original version of the app. (the one you downloaded from the play store)
8.Enable developer options. (Settings>About Phone>Press 'Build Number' until a pop up tells you, that you are now a developer)
9.Go in to developer options.
10.select your gps joystick clone as your mock locations app. (look for mock locations setting somewhere in developer options)
11.now just go in to the app, enter whatever whatever coordinates you like & press start
a joystick should pop up as a screen overlay.
You should now be able to spoof.
I'm using g5s plus A8.1 rooted, currently using this app.
PS no need to worry about Google Play Service update and such, and dont forget to turn off Google Location History just to be safe
Unlocking bootloader may wipe all your data from the phone, so prepare a full backup first !
Im using android 6.0 so i dont need to root like you have but rubber banding is when your GPS location from your phone is sent to pokemon go at the same time your spoofed location does causing your in game avatar to run back and forth at impossibles speeds.
Like I said this is fixed in my situation by physically blocking the GPS chip on my phone with tin foil.
Now if you don't have this problem your app might be killing it somehow.. and not returning it?
that app you are using might somehow permanently remove GPS functionality from your device. uninstalling it and restarting your phone would be a good way to check this? if thats the case I'd recommend a different app.
I know you paid for that app but I'd reccomend :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
[sorry this info is unrelated to your problem but good to know for a beginner]
in that app you can make a "private" app version of that one so if Niantic does a ban based on the black list app that they have (which they've done before.. well tested the feature at least) your app wont be on the black list as its a custom one you make.
the only problem with this app is it rubber bands you from your actual location. now, like I said that can be solved with tinfoil wrapping the back of your device and I found for it to work 100% it also has to cover the camera. if you have an otterbox you can do this without your phone looking terrible.
that app you are using might somehow permanently remove GPS functionality from your device.
Sorry for the long post, feel free to ask any follow up questions.
also what OS do you have installed on your device? android 6, 7, or 8?
Stop using that, else you'll be shadowbanned very soon. Use this instead: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
Select private mode and create a clone, rename it to anything, and then uninstall the original app.
I'm not rooted. I have a Galaxy note 5 software 6.0.1 and January 1st 2017 security patch. If you have that follow these steps. It's what someone posted here
Uninstall the game, then after u follow the steps below reinstall it, open the mock app
download: Here's the app link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
1.Install the app.
2.Open the app.
3.At the top you should see 'privacy mode' (or something similar) written in red near the top. Click on that. Select generate.
4.Choose whatever name you would like. This will create a copy of the same app but under a different name so Niantic won't be able to detect it and give you a red wanting when you run it.
5.Install this clone with the name you gave it. (you need to enable all installation from unknown sources to do this in settings, but the app should prompt you to do so during the installation process)
6.Make sure the clone app is now there.
7.Delete the original version of the app. (the one you downloaded from the play store)

You should now be able to spoof.
Use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en_US it can hide itself without a root .
The newest version from the google play store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
You don't have to pay to teleport on any of the recommended gps joysticks for android... not sure which one you managed to download
I spoof it neatly on a Nexus 7 2013 using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick . It can lag a bit but it works .
This app with indirect mocking, moved to system apps, and enable system mode. Enable agps reset, fix 1, fix 2, and fix 4, enabled from main screen by clicking the "fix gps jump to real location" from main screen. Also you'll need to install magisk on your phone to get root and move the app to system partition using a root enabled file explorer, i personally used solid explorer and set the file permissions manually.https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en_US
Theres a tutorial on the first page of this reddit with more instructions if your lost.
or just systemize the gps app. I personally love the appninjas one (r/https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick)
For any phone just find a way to install TWRP and use it to move the app's apk file to /system/priv-app/appName.
Usually there's no need to root. I'm rooted for comfort and doing really well :D
First of all download gps joystick from link below https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
Now root your device using magisk.you can find many tutorial on internet for this.
After rooting now lets move gps app to system for which download App systemizer(terminal) from modules inside magisk (also download terminal emulator from play store)
Now after installing magisk module App systemizer open terminal emulator app and type su
Than type app systemize than follow the instructions given (remember to move app in priv-app)
After moving it to system now open gps joystick and tap on hamburger menu on left side and go to settings and enable the disable location service and reboot your device.
After rebooting the device open gps app and your are good to go
Happy spoofing.
The one that is developing the app: https://medium.com/@theappninjas/
Or on the contact details within playstore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
I belive there was even a contact solution within the app
I have a OnePlus One running android 6.0.1, and patch Sept 2016. I'm unrooted and started using this and it works fine for the last couple of days. Creates your own dedicated app which I guess is different to every other app. Not sure if it makes it safer but it had different setting to stop rubber banding and it worked where other paid ones failed.
I'm in the same boat I got the patch too. If you have Android 6.0 normally you won't get the 1st May Security Patch which stops you . I can still sideload it on my Nexus 7 and use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en_US and it works fine . You'll need to buy a older device to keep spoofing .
I have started using this one because I am on Android 6.0.1 and patch September 2016. It has the option to create your own specific apk. Not sure if it's safe but I tried using the one Johnny? used. The paid one. And it rubber banded all the time even with no root option. This works flawlessly for me, just unsure on how safe it is.
My girlfriends Huawei had a locked bootloader which was incredibly difficult to root but I still managed. But like you said, it was very difficult.
I'm on 7.0 and also use Magisk. Pretty much done the same thing as you but instead of that spoofing app I use this app and I barely have any issues with other than it taking me awhile to start up Pokemon Go.
I will be brief; if you have questions, feel free to ask.
To spoof with the current detection Niantic has in place and with Android's security patch that does not have the loophole, you need to do the following:
> This is crucial because Niantic scans your phone for names of apps that are own to spoof
> Rooting means to gain root access to your phone, otherwise known as a super-user. This allows you to do anything you want to your phone like remove bloat-ware (unwanted apps) that come on your phone. This is necessary to move the GPS to a system app since messing with your phone's system software can break your phone AKA "brick" it (turn it into an expensive paperweight.) This step is necessary because if you don't do this, you need to tell your phone you want to using an app to fake your location which POGO sees and won't let you log in.
> You can't log into POGO with a rooted phone.
The most complicated part is rooting your phone. Renaming the app and moving it to a system app can all be done within different apps, but rooting requires a PC and technical skills. As said before, you can brick your phone if you do it wrong.
Using cloned and renamed appninja's gps joystick copied as systemapp on a nougat magisk rooted samsung a5 2016.
Respecting delays ( only jumping after 2 hours+ )
I did basically the same and it woks, what you move to system app was the original app or a cloned one??.
I'm asking because I used the appninja (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick) then it have an option to create a clone of the app (you should change the name) and then I used link2sd (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.buak.Link2SD) to move that cloned app to the system, and it works for me, I was able to use the app.
Idk about appninja. I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick got htc one m8, running lineageOS 14.1 with 2018 update (android 7,1,2). Rooted and hidden with magisk. Generated custom gps app and converted to system app (with link2sd). Works like a charm, can spoof and raid with no problems
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en
Download this app, enable developer options in your phone's settings, and select this app as your "mock locations" app. You can start from your real location and use the joystick to move around, or you can enter coordinates for anywhere else. There's 3 buttons below the joystick to change movement speed. I recommend the fastest.
It's possible you'll get the red warning. In which case just stop spoofing and play legit. It should go away in 2 weeks.
It seems mock locations is the problem, or the static values that most GPS apps give. I haven't got the warning, and I've been spoofing for 6 months or so. I use this joystick app installed as system app. Root hided with magisk, OnePlus 3 stock, Android 7.1.1. That way, I don't have to enable mock locations.
if you are rooted just install a mock location app that support system mode (like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick). And move the app to the system app folder, then enable the system mode in the app and you will be able to spoof
I installed this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en
And it simply works. I set it as mock location app and tried it on an alternate account and it works with no problem. I dunno what are the chances of being banned tho.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
It's a free download isn't it? I don't remember paying for it and it's not in my account histroy. I imagine paying for it only removes the ads, but there's only 1 add when you start it and 1 when you end it.
Hi, Yes you (all of you) can spoof on android without "actually" rooting it! You only HAVE TO open your bootloader and install custom recovery (TWRP i.e.). Then install fake gps (ie https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick), reboot to twrp recovery and move the package from data/app to system/priv-app. Ad of course chmod 775 If you dont have system/priv-app move it to system/app. Reboot system, enjoy.
If you're talking about this app then yes I am! And no problem! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en
GPS JoyStick Fake GPS Location https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick The best and more "realist"
have you tried using the appninjas app and following their tutorial on how to use it?
I mean, re-package, enable agps reset, etc

r/https://medium.com/@theappninjas/gps-joystick-faq-228e64baaa08#db27
I use it on a rooted phone, with magisk (properly hidden) and had no problems.
Heard of people using it unrooted and having success.
Perfect, will be easy-peasy then. The Nexus 5 will not update any further, either OS or security patch, as the phone no longer receives support.
You're basically done now, you can start the privacy app, start PoGo, and play. A couple tips:
What measures you take depend on how else you're using the phone and how strong your signals are where you're deployed. Some people will destroy the GPS chip entirely, some use tinfoil around the back of the phone and part of the front, some use Faraday bags.
Play around with it a bit locally before spoofing back home, see how bad you rubber-band just walking your character around in a half-mile to a mile radius. F-bags are my preferred method, but the phone does get hot if spoofing for an extended time, so it may not be ideal in Afghanistan. I also spoof on two different phones, and the other phone requires the F-bag, so it's just easier for me to stick to the same method for both.
I know /u/Zerbynas and a couple other users here spoof on the Nexus 5, so they may have advice on how much tinfoil to use and/or other recommendations for blocking the GPS chip.
My bad. This is the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
Requirements:
At this step I am assuming you are rooted.
Setting up GPS Spoof
Disabling some Pokemon Go Services
Tinfoil
When spoofing mostly you will face rubberbanding ( moving back to your original location ). To remove this, you need to cover the GPS chip of your device with some tinfoil. This will reduce rubberbanding. I usually use 3 layers of tinfoil around my device case which solves the problem.
Google Play Services
Some people have reported excessive rubberbanding since Google Play Services version 11.9.75 and later. If you are facing the same, try clearing the Google Play service cache. If that doesn't work rollback to an earlier version.
You are now ready to spoof !!
You are ready to play now !!
>* Step 5- Download a GPS Spoofing app of your choice. I prefer GPS Joystick but I have had great success with [Fake GPS Floater] (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details? To download a known working GPS Joystick apk, here is the one that I use HERE. HERE is a known working GPS Joystick apk from my phone to use instead of converting the app over.
Download Service Disabler
Download a root file manager. I use root explorer but I believe its a paid only app, give Root Browser a try from HERE.
Download GPS Test app from HERE
Now its time to convert your spoofing app to a system app. If you downloaded my apk open your root explorer and copy/paste the apk to /system/priv-app and select the file and change permissions to 644 (all read selected and owner write selected), skip the rest of these steps below. If you downloaded from the Play store Open up your root explorer and navigate to /data/app and find the gps spoofing app that you installed and select the entire folder and cut it to /system/priv-app. Now go into the folder that you just moved and delete everything but the apk, All odex files and folders must go. Now long press highlight the apk and change permissions of the file to 644 (all read selected and owner write selected). Back out to the folder that the apk is in and do the same but set permissions to 755 (all read, owner write, and all execute).
Next up is Service Disabler, open the app and go to the system tab, search for location, open fusedlocation and disable it (samsung owners need to do the same for Samsungfusedlocation), search again for google and select google play services, navigate down to fusedlocation and disable it.
Next open GPS Test and go to hamburger menu, AGPS and select clear only.
Reboot to recovery and select wipe, advanced, select dalvic cache and cache. swipe to wipe and then reboot. Boot up time will take a few minutes to optimize all apps. I personally recommend you do a backup before making it this far, instructions in step 3.
>* Step 6- Spoofing. Go to settings/location and set to gps only mode. Open maps and see if it can find you, if it still can you are on a March 2017 security patch or newer or you need to wipe AGPS again. If it geo-locates you with a big blue circle or doesn't find you at all you're in business. I have had success with this method on Motorola, Samsung, HTC, Sony, and LG phones. I hope this works for you, if you are still having your GPS find you there is little I can do to help, try tinfoil over your phone (seriously).
Open your spoofing app and start the service. Recommended app settings usually work but ramping up process interval to a faster rate will always work better if you are fighting your true gps signal from rubberbanding you. Open maps and make sure that you are now in your spoofed location and that you can navigate with your joystick. That is it! Be smart with spoofing, dont jump between cities or go place humanly impossible.
If you are experiencing rubberbanding at this point there is little you can do besides covering up your GPS antenna with foil or going into a building. I have only had this issue on one device, moto e 2015, but I am sure not every device is immune to it.
*to be able to use your gps again you need to re-enable fusedlocation and reboot.
I tried to be as noob friendly as possible but also tried to keep the post short, if you need clarification on anything please comment and ill try to update it!
Have you tested the recomended app in the OP?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=pt_PT
no, this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=es
btw, in order for this to work without root, you'll need to flash http://www.mediafire.com/file/7e11xd5mbk4bfv1/Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_09.02.2018.zip/file
I use GPS joystic.
FakeGps from TheAppNinjas https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick . not just works better, works perfect. install it, click Privacy Mode, Generate, install. Remove original GpsJoystick. Convert new FakeGps into a system app. Use these settings https://imgur.com/a/QI9NdBv . Reboot phone. should work flawless
You don't need to root with a Nexus 5, since it comes with Android 6.0.1 and will not be updated past October 2016. Root is for earlier versions of Android, or any versions that have a security patch after March 2017.
I have a Nexus 5 that I use strictly for spoofing, and I let Play Services and whatever else update as they will. I'm on Google Play Services 13.2.80 on my Nexus 5 right now. On another phone I have (Galaxy J7 with Android 6.0.1, February 2017 security patch), I'm on Google Play Services 14.3.66. I spoof every day, and have never had issues with either phone.
Download GPS Joystick by AppNinjas. Open the joystick app, make a private/cloned version, then uninstall the original joystick app. Tinker with settings in the cloned/private joystick app as-needed (you can set speed, routes, favorite locations, etc). The main things I mess with are speeds, and I set process interval to 50ms (helps with lag and rubberbanding, experiment with higher or lower numbers). Every now and again the app won't be able to fetch the altitude of the spoof location - just Google the altitude and manually enter it. If you're spoofing to the same locations quite a bit, eventually you'll memorize what the altitudes are, and not need to Google at all.
Activate developer options on your phone, set the private/cloned joystick app as your Mock Location app. In your phone settings, set Location to be "device only".
Open the joystick app, set your new location, and then hide the overlay (PoGo sometimes recognizes I'm trying to draw-over, so I just hide every time). Open PoGo. Once loaded, un-hide the overlay so you can freely move about.
You'll still need a little something extra to block your GPS signal - tinfoil or such. If you're spoofing to a new timezone or over the dateline, make sure you manually set the date and/or timezone in your phone to wherever it is you're going. The one and only time I've ever received a RW was spoofing across the country one day, and I didn't do that. I normally stay in my own timezone, so it completely slipped my mind to take that extra step, whoops.
Also, heads up, the Nexus 5 gets hot as shit playing PoGo, especially if playing while charging, so keep an eye on your temps. Also, PoGo gets super laggy if you're playing for more than an hour or two straight. I find shutting down the game and restarting tends to fix that, or if not, clearing PoGo cache and restarting.
I'm fine. My setup:
- Lineage OS 14 (android 7.1) rooted, with MagiskManager repackaged and PoGo Masked. Up to date and enabled Playstore and Gservices, July 2018 security patch.
- The Appninjas gps joystick app r/https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick repackaged and "disable location service" as per their tutorial: r/https://medium.com/@theappninjas/gps-joystick-faq-228e64baaa08#db27
Still don't trust niantic, so only spoofing with secondary accounts. Main got out the second strike just before the eevee comm day so not risking it anymore. Used a different setup before that got it flagged.
Only downside is I have to reboot every time I want to switch between playing legit or spoofed and my real GPS becomes slow to respond for the few couple days after spoof.
Anyways, had no problems with my alter accs.
Always respect generously the cooldowns before tp and when moving use the walk function.
I tuned the joystick settings to be intentionally imprecise so it isn't detected easily. (just play with options; speed, offsets, etc)
LG Nexus 5 D821 (international/worldwide version). I got mine on eBay for US $70 (EU €60), so definitely within your budget... I found these 2 sellers that are willing to ship to EU countries:
1) https://www.ebay.com/itm/Google-Nexus-5-LG-D821-32GB-3G-GSM-Unlocked-Black-White-Smartphone/263710111599
2) https://www.ebay.com/itm/LG-Google-Nexus-5-Black-White-D821-GSM-Unlocked-Smartphone/273216917399
It comes with Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow), security patch from October 2016, so no root required! The OS won't update as the phone is no longer supported, and assuming you'll use it with no SIM/carrier, there's no concern of more recent patches or needing to root later. You'll need to update Google Play Services, but no worries - mine updated to v12.8.62 (June 2018), and I haven't experienced any of the trouble others did a while back of rubberbanding/etc. The joystick I use is "GPS Joystick" by u/theappninjas, and I've cloned it to a unique/private version.
As far as things I've noticed with this phone:
You'll need to fuss around with tinfoil and other GPS-chip-blocking measures, but that's sorta par for the course.
It's hit-or-miss whether or not the joystick overlay is recognized (and PoGo won't start). I just hide the joystick before I start the game, then un-hide/show after the game loads, no big deal.
The phone gets pretty hot while charging and/or running intensive apps, and the battery drains fairly quickly running PoGo, so be aware of how long you're spoofing continuously. I've spoofed for an hour straight, no charging, without issue other than the phone getting warm. While charging, I keep my time in shorter increments, like 15 minutes or less, as the heat is quickly noticeable.
If you use this phone for any other purpose, especially for anything that uses map/location (like Google Play Rewards, for example), always double-check Location is "Device Only" before you spoof. I've had Location reset to "High Accuracy" as a result of using other services.
And finally, the other issue I've seen is that if I have PoGo running for several hours, the processor (maybe RAM?) can bog down so much that PoGo is stuttering/slow and/or the joystick won't respond at all. When that happens, I just kill all apps and let the phone chill for a few minutes.
Have you tried this?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en
You can use either PoGo app or FakeGPS maps and routes
I'll recommend this one, since it's easier to configure:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
For joystick to work properly on non rooted phone, it should be above Android 6.0 before the March 2017 security patch.
Most popular ones :
1) GPS Joystick - Free. Contains privacy mode to evade Niantic blacklist. They have a detailed blog in their webpage, for setting up the app for Pokemon Go.
2) Fake GPS Joystick - Paid
3) Fly GPS - Free
4) New GPS - Free. Currently blacklisted by niantic
Always use privacy mode if available or recompile the app using this guide to evade Niantic's blacklist. I would recommend GPS joystick, as it has been the most stable with inbuilt privacy mode feature. But others should also work fine.
If you are rooting phone, then you can go ahead with April 2017 patch by converting the app to system app by using any file manager. Remember to hide the root or unroot before playing. This can also be done with custom recovery without actually rooting the phone. Follow this guide.
If you are not rooting, then only option is to rollback to patch before March 2017 with Android > 6.0. Then you'll be able to play without converting to system app, by just enabling Mock Locations in developer options.
For both these options, rubberbanding would be present to some extent. Cover GPS chip with tinfoil to reduce it.
The best fake gps app at the moment IMO is GPS Joystick which is free. It has a built in privacy mode to clone the app to evade niantic's blacklist. You can update the app within the settings itself. Follow this guide.
Try this with privacy mode:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
Root it with Magisk, (first make sure to get the Stock ROM for your device incase you need to backup!). This is how I did it: >1) unlock bootloader (check online for your model)
>2) install TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project, lets you flash stuff from .zip in the SD card)
>3) download Magisk to the SD and install it via TWRP (Magisk = root) Note: I have Magisk v14.0 working, can't speak about the v15
>4) Install Magisk Manager (right from Android, its an apk), open it and do the safetynet check. If it passes, go on, if it says CTS Profile: False try this patch via TWRP
>5) After SafetyNet is ok, install GPS JoyStick Fake GPS Location by AppNinjas and the FIRST thing you gotta do when you open it is generate the privacy mode. Put a random name there so PoGo won't black list it !!!! Put CatMemes for example lol, then delete the original FakeGPS apk so it wont get blacklisted
>6) Make your privacy mode GPS app into a system app. There's many methods, the easiest one I found is via Link2SD , then reboot
> 7) Now, open the privacy mode GPS app, and you NEED this two options enabled: Enable indirect mocking and System mode.
>>BIG NOTE HERE: Most places you find these guides tell you to "Disable location service" but this one option made my device bootloop (read another person that had this problem too, no solution found). I had to recover it and try all the steps again like 5 times and it got stuck, so I have decided not to use it at all. I got rubberbanding, which I have overcome with tinfoil. Yes, actual tinfoil. Cover your back and sides of the phone with many many layers of it, in my case it required like 10 layers to work.
Hope it works!! Otherwise yeah, just grab an old iPhone it's ridiculously easy lol. Ps. here is the Magisk universal safetynet patch uninstaller in case you got an error somewhere and need to try again. I had "Magisk is not installed" error when I reinstalled without taking that patch off
There are root methods on 5.x as well. Just try out some spoofing apps to see if one works with Pokemon Go.
Start with these.
FakeGPS Free - https://fakegps-free.en.uptodown.com/android
GPS JoyStick Fake GPS Location - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en
If you use GPS JoyStick, be sure to rename it so it's not recognized by Pokemon Go.

This is the spoofing app you used
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
and only one?
I tried to be as noob friendly as possible but also tried to keep the post short, if you need clarification on anything please comment and ill try to update it!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick You can disable your GPS from inside system with this app.
Try this app (Using System Mode) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick Works with march patch on OP3
GPS JoyStick of course!
I very very highly recommend GPS Joystick from The App Ninjas. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick
I've had no issues with their app, ever. You can even create a separate clone that changes the app name and ID to hide it from PoGo. You can also change how much the random GPS drift works, speed settings, and more. It's a really good app.
when did you try it? what did you do with it? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en the latest versions allow you to rebuild the APK with any name you want, so it will no longer be named "GPS JoyStick Fake GPS Location"
for the older versions it is still ok,never safe tho. and the new version will be forced soon, use this for older version https://medium.com/@theappninjas/gps-joystick-faq-228e64baaa08 download from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick&hl=en
This spoofer might work.
