Uh I don't know what the scam is here but this is not remotely true. The only partially true part is that Kim is indeed the original creator.
Flero Games is making the Nintendo Switch version. They do not own anything. They're not a satanic megacorp or anything and they're basically not responsible for anything at all other than an unreleased port we know nothing about.
Cheetah Mobile is indeed the nasty publisher who bought them up and resulted in pearls being added. This was covered extensively on this sub. You can plainly see CM is the publisher on the app store entry: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.idleif.abyssrium&hl=en_US
The game was released publicly and globally by Idle Idea Factory and was free of Cheetah Mobile for many months. CM had nothing to do with localization.
Any conservation/habitat/ecosystem management type games? I love the look/idea behind the game Abyssirium. You basically manage a habitat of fish and coral and accumulate different types of fish, etc. However it's a tap-based point-accumulating game with minimum strategy. I would like a similar game that looks as good, but involving more strategy - like in this setting it would possibly involve managing the ecosystem myself by controlling factors like plankton, pollution, sunlight levels, checking predators/trophic levels in the food-chain, etc. and THAT would affect the kinds of fish instead of just "more taps = more points".
Basically looking for something like Sims where I can control every detail, but for an ecosystem with animals instead of people/civilisation.
EDIT: I've picked a phone. Thanks everyone!
Hiya. I'm an iPhone user but I'm planning to switch to Android when my current phone contract ends in a year.
I'm big on silly mobile simulation games, and as it happens, most of the games I'm into do not carry data between Android and iOS. So, I want to get a supplementary Android device that I can use for mobile games until I switch my main phone to Android. Features I'm looking for:
Ability to run simple games (here's an example) and cloud so that I can transfer save data to another Android later down the road. (I assume the cloud is available on any Android device, but I'm listing it just in case.)
Easy access to music. I hate Apple's approach to putting music on my phone -- having to load up iTunes and put my files through it every time I plug in my phone is too inconvenient.
Decent battery life. I don't want to constantly be charging.
Cheap. I'd like to pay less than $100 if possible.
Beyond that, I don't need much else. My iPhone will suffice for phone, texting, and browsing capabilities until my contract is up.
Apparently also on Android.

Is this the version you are talking about? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.idleif.abyssrium
It's this the correct one or a copy cat? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.idleif.abyssrium
According to Google Play, the developer is in Hong Kong.
I find Abyssrium for mobile adorable. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.idleif.abyssrium&hl=en
