I was going to give that a try this season.

I ski with mine all the time. Battery definitely takes a beating if "tilt to wake" is on.

I haven't found a good app to track vertical or speed for Android Wear, but if you ride with your phone, check out Trace (formerly Alpine Replay). I use it every time I go skiing.

I use Trace and I like it! Seems pretty accurate, not a huge battery drain (can make it through a whole day tracing and listening to music on BT headphones), and the leaderboards make it easy to compete with your friends using the app too. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alpinereplay.android

I started using TraceSnow a few weeks back and love it. It's free, does a decent job of GPS tracking, and even notes jumps including height and distance.

I like Trace Snow for tracking my runs and how many I fit in (rather than trying to post the fastest time like many use apps for).

I’ve only used on iOS, but been using this app for a couple years and haven’t found anything else that matches it.
