Hey, r/unixporn! I just finished my first android app/live wallpaper for KLWP. KLWP is utility to build live wallpapers that can change how you use your phone. (see r/kustom or r/androidthemes). As you can see, I've "stolen" a lot of design from tiling window managers like i3, and bspwm found on this subreddit and on my laptop. Neofetch was also a huge inspiration. Well...now you can have the joy of the *nix desktop/tiling window manager on your phone! (something I was missing over on Android).
I've built the theme to be able to use colors found in ~/.Xresources. (fg, bg, color 1, color 2, etc...) . It's really easy to edit all of the colors quickly by editing the global variables. I'd love to see what you all do with it! Here's some examples (included in the app):
Brown
Blues
Monochrome (one of my favorites)
It's on the play store HERE, if you are interested in supporting the project and buying me a cup of coffee once in a while!
edit: Video of it in action.
edit2: I woke up to a lot of excitement and discussion! Thanks for the support...it truly helps! If there is anything you want to see in the app please contact me on reddit or through me email (found on the play store)!
Used my KLWP on Google Play and this wall from yesterday.
Should be live now...https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=unixp.klwp
edit: found a bug in the fonts...will be updating shortly
edit2: fixed as of 1.2
Used my KLWP on Google Play and this wall from yesterday.
It's not Termux, it's a paid KLWP theme that someone made
I'm 90% sure it's this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=unixp.klwp
Back again from my earlier post from three weeks ago. I received feedback from this subreddit, and over on g+ to tweak the design and organization of this live wallpaper. It's on the play store HERE, if you are interested in supporting the project and buying me a cup of coffee once in a while!
The theme is designed to integrate color schemes found in many ~/.Xresources files. Here is a great source for color schemes (or check out r/unixporn). 4 themes are included in the app so far (you can see these in the play store). However, you can always add more by editing the global variables found in KLWP.
If you have any more questions about this theme, or find any bugs, let me know!
Google Play. I just adjusted the Y Axis settings on a few of the items and added spaces to the ASCII Android art.
