Simple for Facebook Pro A facebook wrapper kinda like Swipe, same material designs and fluid animations but with an active dev support.

I'm not aware of any "simple for facebook" other than the one made by creative trend apps. But if it's what you're looking for, it's renamed to simple social

I like Simple Pro, but I think there's a free version too.

It's rare I use my phone for internet away from my pc or I'd never be free but occasionally I use simple pro to peek in. It's on sale for a buck..
Simple Pro for facebook allows you to block sponsored posts, people and groups, as well as friend suggestions
Been using Simple Pro for about 1.5 years now. I've tried a few and have bounced around but Simple seems the best. They all have things they do a little different but you have to keep in mind, they are all just web based wrapper apps. So with that said you will have feature limitations.
I like Simple because it has a Google+, Instagram and Twitter app built in.

Which wrapper do you use? I have tried like 4 and have settled on Simple. Unfortunately I still have a use for the FB Marketplace and none of the wrappers have figured out how to do this yet since it is not available for the FB web versions.

Why not just use a wrapper then? Same thing but with more options to tweak and shit.

I use Simple Pro but the free version is good too. You can use Messenger Lite as the supported messaging client.
I use Simple now. It's pretty packed with features and I find it far better than what Swipe ever was.

Facebook apps are garbage, both the main app and to a lesser extent, their messenger. I used the website in my browser untill I found Simple Pro, paid for it with Google Rewards money and never looked back. It's an add-free and much better facebook client with built in messenger and I can sort my feed by most recent instead of having facebook decide over what I might prefer to see.

Maybe an alternative FB app can be a solution? They don't require all the permissions.

Edit: I don't know why the downvote train passed by. Has any of you even looked at it? You don't have to give them your credentials, it's the same 'sign in using Facebook and give certain access' as you see on literally tons of other websites.
