As far as code goes it seems to be a ripofff of mupen64plus by paulscode.
Do you mind sharing screenshots and the URL that chrome is showing?
Suspicious URL is http://simpledroid.s3.amazonaws.com/com-aspieapps-free-emulator.json which seems to be from aspieapps which is the APK merchant.
Edit: There is also some OUYA code lol
This might be a bit too specific, but I'm having some minor issues with the Nintendo 64 emulator I'm using, MegaN64.
A few locations lacks textures almost completely.
All sound is delayed with almost a second.
I've tried various things in the settings but is seems like nothing helps.
Just searched the net, and these seem to have high ratings.

MegaN64 Android playstore link
I've been playing Mario64 and Ocarina of Time. It has a great interface and very easy to download and open games for it.
Update: If it was the MegaN64 Nintendo 64 emulator app that was causing this issue, like it was for several people on here, it's been removed from the Google Play Store.
I use Mega64 for android. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aspieapps.free.emulator
I just downloaded the ROM from romsmania. Paper mario and mario kart64 also work, but paper mario uses the glide core. Battle for naboo and rogue squadron don't work at all :(
Edit: mario 64 ROM download page https://romsmania.com/roms/nintendo-64/super-mario-64-233474
Ive been using one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Android-Quad-Core-fully-loaded-MXIII/dp/B00O0LEQIW got about a dozen n64 games running on it, all work fine but some have more graphical glitches than others, I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aspieapps.free.emulator to play the games. Kids play 2 player, one on an xbox360 wired controller and one uses a bluetooth game pad

Super Mario 64 ROM: http://www.completeroms.com/thankyou.php?id=108750
Mario Kart 64 ROM: http://www.completeroms.com/thankyou.php?id=316
To play them you just simply open the app up, press "game" and locate your ROM.zip. Then press "play" and select cheats if you want to then press play again.
Have in mind that it might be illegal in your country to download these roms without having paid for the original game.
Try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aspieapps.free.emulator&hl=en
You'll have to get your games from somewhere else on the web tho

works perfectly on shield at least
Yep. I think this is the one I used.
Personally I prefer Mega64 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aspieapps.free.emulator
It's based off Mupen64, but I've found it to be more stable

Just grab a bluetooth controller and you are all set!
Or better yet just download via google play.

It is ok, You must feel bad that you wasted all that money, not many people know this stuff exists.
