Very easy to be honest, I mix by weight and I pretty much have one recipe I stick to ( after experimenting with loads and loads of different stuff. I have a cupboard full of flavours )
I use an Android phone app called e-juicelab which stores all of my recipes by both weight and volume.
It's worth downloading the app and having a look around it to see what's involved.
My go to "all day vape" recipe is what I call Doublenut RY4 ( or Tobacco on Toast ) and it's basically Hazlenut, Almond, French toast and RY4 ( a tobacco flavour )
I make up a monthly batch of the stuff ( 180ml ) in the kitchen and it takes me around an hour.
The only maintenance is having a supply of PG, VG, Nicotine ( which I keep in the freezer ) and the four flavours I use so it cost me around £10/month and I restock about once every four months. Plus a supply of Nitrile gloves to handle the Nicotine ( about £6 a box on Ebay )
Mixing by weight is as simple as mixing the VPG base ( VG, PG and Nicotine ) into 100ml bottles you can buy on Ebay and then adding the flavours using a small scale. It really is that simple.
I then decant from the 100ml bottles into 30ml bottles to use it.
I've never fucked up and spilt nicotine or anything yet, it just about being careful really.
the one thing i saw missing from my favorite app is the ability to tweak your nic VG & PG ratio. IE: you can only pick 100% PG or 100% VG.
Sadly, i use 50/50 so i have to math, every time.
Also, if there were a possibility to link to ELR (recipes, stash, etc) that would be awesome too
My go to mixing app, upgraded for 2$ in a heart beat I just look at my phone for weights and set it right next to me as I mix. (There's a free version as well)
I prefer weight myself it's much easier and IMO far more accurate. I don't like all that mucking about with syringes business.
If you make your VPG's bases first ( VG/PG/nic ) you can knock up new flavours in minutes with no mess too.
Also if you have an Android device I recommend this app, it's the cats nuts.
For mixing and Android it has to be e-juice lab
Personally ( and I've tried a few ) there isn't a better DIY calculator out there.
For coil calculations it has to be Steam.
e-liquid recipes is a good resource for mixing, especially their new forum.
I mix by weight, it's pretty easy once you get into it. All you need is a good calc. If you have an android device then I recommend e-juice lab.
If you have android, E-Juice Lab does all the hard work for you, it has weights for VG/PG and Nic in base and if you really want to and can find the gravities online, you can add the gravity for individual flavors, but i just stick to the default one, so recipes are consistent and often online recpies seem to stick with 1ml = 1g
I have an android app that will allow you to use premixed bases/juices
If you don't have an android I'm sure there's an apple or online equivalent.
You need scales like these ones.
I use this set myself, they're great for what they are.
You also need a good calculator, I use E-juice lab on Android.
This is the best ejuice app I've found on Android. The developer has obviously put a lot of work into making it useful. You can import flavor libraries from the popular vendors, keep track of your recipes, add notes to them as you experiment, and display your recipe ratios by weight, volume, or percentage. I love it!

I'm a big fan of e-liquid recipes, it's a great site for referencing juices. I'll definitely use the forum.
On a side note though have you ever thought about teaming with an app maker, say something like e-juice lab, which is by far my favourite?
I'd love to be able to fly those recipes straight to an android app for mixing or send my own recipes to your site.
E-Juice Lab is great!! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.idland.oyvindi.e_juicelab
It's not convenient for me to mix near my computer, so if you can do android: E-juice Lab has been really great for me.
I have the paid version, the free only lets you hold 3 recipes. Great app.
If you are on android this app lets you put in all your flavors and its a calculator. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.idland.oyvindi.e_juicelab
E-Juice Lab is what I use. Seems to have more utility than this one does. Especially if you mix by weight.
For me it has to be ejuice lab on Android, it's just superb.

Pretty similar name to this one too. I'm not a lawyer but you want to be careful when money is involved.

Pretty good and simple app. Dev responds quickly to emails as well.
I prefer ejuicelab as an android app to be honest.
