I used the Find It Fix It app to report water welling up from under the street.
And a old pipe that burst got patched and long term fix is in the works.
From the response I got it seems the mayor's office monitors the app and escalates accordingly.
I am unsure if anyone else reported the leak before me. Or how soon after would a homeowner or apartment manager would have noticed. I just saw a steady stream of water welling up from a crack and flowing down to a storm drain. This was on July 14th, everything was dry so the flowing water caught my attention.

It's honestly not trivial effort to pick up the garbage people are throwing onto sidewalks (etc...). The FIFI app is genuinely helpful though.
Seeing garbage on hiking trails would definitely raise alarms for me. I know I have picked up a lot of litter in at least a couple parks here.
Real answer: Report it on Find it Fix it. The city has been putting more energy into cleaning these up but they don't magically know where they all are... Someone has to report them.

I would genuinely be interested, but the areas I've been trying to keep clean actually seem to move around.
While a lot of areas are a lot worse than before roughly the beginning of the year, some spots seem to have gotten better (two bus stops near Egyptian, Broadway QFC, Spice Box parking lot, Pike Place Market, etc...).
The FIFI app has been honestly really helpful getting help on some stuff, but I'm still more concerned with some of the bigger issues.
Are you using FIFI?
The FIFI (Find It Fix It) app let's you submit pictures for any of the requests you make. A lot of the pictures are from actual requests.
