OK, looking this game up. This was iOS and Android before it came out on Switch!
This is a fucking Modile Game. I'm perfectly fine with the Switch being the Mobile Game Valhalla.
First level is free and the rest unlockable by IAP. Currently the unlock is on sale for ~$1.
Game looks and plays very well.
Currently it's Implosion. This is the perfect mobile game for me. Super tight controls, great presentation and levels that last around 5 minutes long. I'm on the last chapter now and i don't want it to end

Arguably one of the best games on Android but marred slightly by people rating it 1-star as they cannot read the description and/or expect every game on Android to be free. It honestly deserves much better than 4.4 out of 5.
It'd be nice if there was a discount but I don't expect one to happen, I'm not sure how they would be able to publicise a sale on an IAP that unlocks the full-game. Plus I don't think they ever did price reductions on the song packs for Cytus 1 or their other games before.

Xenowerk. It's all kinds of fun and gives a sort of Metroid feel to it. You may want to try Implosion, though it's not real lesser known now that is but the 1 million download mark.
This game blew my mind as to how far mobile gaming has gone: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rayark.implosion&hl=en Looks better than on my Nexus 9, which scales down the resolution a bit. It's basically a free demo but a one-time $10 unlock after so many levels.

If you want a single player with a great story.
Tho i know no mobile game has a story or has a trash story But implosion was done by rayark studios and this game first launched on mobile device but now its available for other platforms too And it's the only AAA title game ever that is for mobile devices I played the game 6 years back and it's close to my heart, i cried at the ending, the story telling of the game

It's so good they're making an anime out of it. Story is interesting, gameplay mechanics are so great I'd play this on PC. It's an AAA title in every aspect.
It's a premium game with no IAP (well, one as you play the first few mission free then you pay ONCE to unlock the full game). It's a hack and slash with fluent gameplay mechanics.
Console like graphics, decent voice acting and an interesting plot.
It's like infinity blade but horror and has one of the best plot with multiple endings available. A little bit grindy though.

The first six levels are available for free. If you like it, you can do a single $10 IAP to unlock the full game. There aren't any ads. No stamina/energy limiting how much you play.

Implosion. Absolutely fantastic game. First three levels are free, after that it's $9.99. Worth it. Loads of fun, buttery smooth gameplay, absolutely stunning graphics. I can run it on high on my Galaxy S6 with absolutely no stutters or slowdowns. High resolution textures and good models all around. If you really, really like MOBAs, Vainglory is very pretty. I'm just not fond of the apparent lack of an instantaneous attack with no cool-down. I hate being a sitting duck for any amount of time. If I'm just mistaken and I missed the explanation for that, someone let me know.

Edit: Skyforce is also a very attractive game, a nice forward-scrolling, auto-shooting bullet-hell style of game. Progression can be pretty slow, but it is immensely fun if you don't mind the grind too much.

Been playing a lot of implosion never lose hope, made by the gods over at rayark, it's a beautiful game, with great voice acting and cutscenes, every single dialogue is voice acted, cutscenes are pretty regular and made with beautiful art style, A disclaimer on Android it's the demo version meaning levels 1-6 are free then you gotta buy the game through IAPs in game it's only $9.99 it's original price

Been playing a LOT of cytus 2 also again made by the gods over at rayark, with composers from literally all around the world, it's 60% DLCs but still a fun game with a great storyline, it's a Rhythm based game kinda like OSU! if you have played that game, it's $9.99

spooky sounds Dark echo a fun and pretty dark game (pun intended), been playing it a lot, from what I can get it's about a blind man who's in a cave link place for some unknown reasons, I won't be able to explain the game so just look up some gameplay for it ;P, it's $2.99

I'm not sure if everyone knows this game but it's N.O.V.A 3 the original version, I saved up my lunch money to buy this game and I think I paid for it around 6$ when it was on sale in Playstore and man I enjoyed playing this game.
The second game would be Implosion - Never Lose Hope, I play the demo of this and just bought the whole game. Hack and Slash Genre.
