Sometimes I only want to see radar. I can tell how severe, what specific areas will get hit, and it's not hard to judge timing based on how fast the system is moving.
I've been using Rainy Daysfor that. I use it most when there are severe storms coming.
Rainy days app is the best thing I ever found. You can watch actual rain clouds. Handy to know if its going to rain over next few hours if you wanted to go for a run/cycle etc.
I've been using Rainy Days for years. I love it for it's simplicity. It loads, even if you have only limited data coverage, because there are no additional layers, maps or ads to load. It's also free and gets regular maintenance updates.
Way late to the party, but RainyDays is a simple weather radar app. No bullshit, just works. I believe its only Android.
I don't think that Raindar works outisde of the USA. When I moved to Ireland I started using Rainy Days but I miss Raindar.
Not sure quite what you have in mind,, but i like "Rainy Days." It's simple, and to the point.
Rainy days. Rain radar shows you exactly where rain clouds are.
Not a weather app but I found Rainy Days great for radar.
Rainy Days. Essentially a live heat-map of where it's raining right now.
Internationaal alternatief voor Buienalarm is Rainy Days. Beiden apps van vrienden van mij!
Rainy daysvoor weer radar, google weer en buienalarm voor globale voorspellingen, en windy voor een gedetailleerd beeld
Came here to recommend Rainy Days but it appears to be Android only. Love the app.
Winter and summer never change, spring and fall will bring the rain.
Now we have technolo-gee. Watch the radar, you will see.
