A tablebase is presolved brute force for a specific number of pieces
http://chessok.com/?page_id=361
That tablebase has everything for 3-4-5-6 pieces solved so if there are 6 pieces on the board or less it will know exactly what happens given best play.
chessok also has 7 piece tablebases, the lomonosov endgame tablebase but I think you have to be a vip member to use it. Althought the android version of it may be free https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.convekta.android.lomonosovtb
Not sure what computer you are using... This position is a draw with perfect play from both sides. See the Lomonosov tablebases for all positions with seven pieces left on the board.

Ingraining that thought process should have a very positive effect on your chess. It helped me eliminate most of my blunders.
Chess King have a cool app on Android for practicing end games. With both of those books I would recommend not to overdo it; it's better to go over examples in Silman's book several times and develop a certain level of automation with the ideas than to push too far ahead. Like Silman suggests in the introduction, working up to one category above your current rating is probably best. Same thing with Logical Chess really; I'd recommend going over each game several times and really absorb what he is on about. Then you are far more likely to see the idea come up in your games and reinforce it.
Lomonosov 7-piece tablebase only freely available 7 piece table base I am aware of anywhere.
Using this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.convekta.android.lomonosovtb
It says white wins in 32 if white to move and white wins in 38 if black to move.
You might have to search under tablebase or something.
