Series Guide lets you track which episodes of a TV show you have seen and when the next episode will air (and you can then import it into your calendar)
I'm loving Series Guide at the moment. Add your favorite TV shows to it, drop a widget on the home screen, and it'll keep you updated as to when your shows are coming on. If you buy a license for it, or use the 30 day free trial, you can have the widget display shows that were on recently so you can see what you missed as well.
I have been using Seriesguide for a few weeks now. I don't know why I never heard about it,the app was out from so many years. It's a damn good app to keep track of movies and TV shows and it also integrates seamlessly with trackt.tv. You guys should definitely check it out.
For anyone who watches a lot of TV, and likes to stay organized, I highly recommend Series Guide
Very simple interface and does exactly what you need. You punch in all the shows you follow (for me, that's a lot), and then with the widget you can see what episodes are upcoming, and which were recently aired.
I'm all over the place with DVR, live viewing, Netflix binging of old shows, etc, and it's been a lifesaver in terms of staying organized.
I know I know, my biggest hurdle for productivity involves tv watching.
I've not had cable tv in years either. I highly recommend Series Guide. It will tell you when a new episode of a show you like airs. I've not yet found a show that it doesn't have information on, and I watch some obscure shows.
Ich schaue echt viele Serien und habe mir daher mal die 5€ gegönnt, um da die Übersicht zu behalten.

Die Investition hat sich extrem gelohnt.
*Make sure you have the modded version from Mobilism*
Download the app Here
Connect to your tract account to Series Guide
Go to a TV Show or movie within Series Guide
Scroll all the way down and click "Customize Extensions" then "Add extension" and then Terrarium TV
Then go back to the movie/TV show and click "Watch on Terrarium TV"

Edit: I have absolutely no clue if this works with fire sticks or android boxes so if someone tries, let us know.
I've been using SeriesGuide for a long whole and have no plans to switch. It works perfectly and even has a neat upcoming widget.
Us the app series guide, it will specify everything and lets you keep track.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
This is the google play store link. It's also available on iOS.
I use the SeriesGuide app. I think exporting from tracktv is possible but I never used the feature so I'm not sure.
I got an app on my phone. One of the best apps out there for me. Here it is if you want to check it out.
SeriesGuide with X Pass (5€) or 2€/yr (in app purchase)
I know this is not a direct solution, but your post reminded me of this popular app, maybe it will be a good work-around for you?
Io uso Trakt sincronizzato ad una delle tante app "satellite", ossia SeriesGuide. Per film e serie tv.
Sure, so trakt.tv is just the website and back-end TV tracking service. You can find apps that integrate the trakt.tv api/protocol and use these apps to receive notifications about upcoming shows. I personally use the SeriesGuide app for trakt on my phone. Here are the apps that support trakt.tv Hopefully that explains it a bit better, if you have any more questions just ask.
Please remove any movie or TV posts from your Play Store listing. Recently many apps were flagged and banned for using copyrighted content. Look at SeriesGuide screenshots in the Play Store for examples on how to circumvent this.
I use Seriesguide, and I highly recommend it. Just create an account on trakt.tv and connect the app to it.
Looks nice, but I still can't switch from SeriesGuide because it has TerrariumTV integration - a direct link to be able to watch the episode on Terrarium.
It's hard for me to keep track of the TV shows I'm watching, plus I need a better discovery tool out there. This app is one of the best apps I have ever CE across. I have talked to the developer a couple of times and he is awesome. He built it in part-time, and still supports it very actively. It was one of the first apps to become Nougat compatible. There are no ads in the free version, and there is a optional paid x-pass to support. Many people suggested other apps with 'better' features, but honestly, when I have Reddit, I don't need any other place to discuss episodes and this is a no-nonsense app. I really suggest everyone tries it. It has all functionality built in, and combined with a widget, there is no one that can beat it.
Not exactly what you want, but Terrarium adds a extension to Series Guide which can directly take you to Terrarium streams for a particular episode. SeriesGuide also integrates with Trakt and Plex.
Have you used Series Guide? I switched from Twee to that one about a year ago. For my use it's better, it also does Movies.
Series Guide: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
I could make do without Google Calendar -- my work schedule is emailed out in spreadsheet and PDF formats, and my wife is actually annoying at times with how often she reminds me of our social obligations. I could survive without Phonograph -- I don't need music when I'm out and about, and I could just start carrying my old iPod again if I really need music. I could get by just fine without PocketBell, QKSMS, or Weather Timeline -- the Google apps that come stock with a Nexus device can do most of what these apps can do, after all. I could even manage without Nova Launcher, though admittedly I would enjoy my phone a lot less.
But of all the apps I use every day, SeriesGuide is the one that, if I were to be forced to go without it, would really and truly have a negative impact on my life. I don't have the time to watch all my favourite shows as they air, and I honestly wouldn't be able to remember all of them without this app either, much less when they air. And for the few shows that I could remember the day and time for, I would be thrown for a loop when they're moved or if they go on hiatus for whatever reason -- as a Canadian, I don't immediately consider American holidays when I find out a show isn't airing. All this makes SeriesGuide invaluable to me. Buying the pro version was, quite honestly, the best software purchase I have ever made.
If you have an Android phone, you should download Series Guide. It's a great way to keep track of shows you watch. I'm sure iOS has something similar too.
Series Guide (movies and series)
You can keep tracking of Movies and tv shows, release dates, checking watched series, connection to trakt etc.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
Series Guide all the way, track all shows from all networks, notifications, trakt.tv connection, integration with just watch
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
Try SeriesGuide... I have been using the VIP version of it for the past 2 years and love it. The app is simple and well built with regular updates and gets the job done.. Hope that hepled. Here is the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
I use a Chrome extension called TV WatchList.
I also use an Android app called SeriesGuide.
Probably overkill to use both, but I enjoy having access on my computer as well as on my phone.
can't be 100% sure if it works in your case but try Seriesguide with its TTV extension to open the source page. Setup guide
Guess you're gonna have to compete with SeriesGuide and Series Mate.
SeriesGuide is another good app, works with TV shows and also movies. The app also syncs with Trakt, which other users have mentioned.
Good morning! I use sesame as nova integration on a Samsung Galaxy s8 with Android 7.0! Seriesguide is an app that tracks TV series (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide), Sesame supports it by creating 3 links, but only 1 of 3 works, it does not work in the movie section or list section! Every time I click on movies go back to the seriesguide home page! Solid Explorer is a file manager, sesame asks me to create a manual link by telling you in which folder to log in! But as soon as I tell you which folder to choose, go back to the new Launcher home page! Thank you and sorry for my english!
Can confirm. Series Guide makes tracking numerous shows at a time easier. You could set it up to have alerts on new episodes and even special episodes.
just fyi: there is an awesome Android app for keeping track of what Series you watched and checking each episode one by one, it also tells you when new episodes aired in the US.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
i'm practically using it daily.
Series Guide on Google play store. It syncs your trakt.tv account and you are good to go. Been using it for past 4 years. It gives you the stats but doesn't recommend. For recommendations use IMDb maybe.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
Play Store links:
Powered by trakt. This android app is amazing. Keeps you up to date, and has an awesome widget to see which one of your shows is coming up.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
You should download the app SeriesGuide (link). It's awesome for keeping track of the shows you watch, both binging and watching as it airs.
I'm a big fan of SeriesGuide on Android. You add all the shows that you watch, the app tells you when each episode airs, and you can check them off once you've watched them. Also it comes with a nice widget that shows which episodes are upcoming.
Series Guide. Not sure if this can be counted as lesser known but it's vital for anyone that watches multiple TV shows over the same period of time. Great for tracking where you're up to.
I use Series Guide on my phone to tell me when episodes air. No more missing episodes or getting excited only to find out it's a rerun. It uses the Trakt.tv backend.
Please write in the thread what the premium provides.
Also, does it work better than this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
?
For example, if I switch to another device, will it get everything restored? Or at least does it have a Drive backup?
If you have an Android device, SeriesGuide is super handy.
It has a nice home screen widget too.
Do you have any app suggestion to explore new released content and discover upcoming content for Indian movies? I found an app called seriesguide which does exactly this when release time is changed to India, but wish it had more options like sort by, filter by, customizable UI.
My favourite would be SeriesGuide. Its such a helpful app. Minimal, simple and powerful. No 'bloat' features like its competitors. It also has trakt integration.
I think i misunderstood the question. If you are asking to keep track of shows and get how many hours you have spent watching them then try this open source app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
Could you please check if SeriesGuide Upcoming Shows widget refreshes correctly the next day (i.e. it should change from "tomorrow" to "today" after midnight regarding upcoming episodes)?
I am considering returning it because of this widget issue.
I don’t believe you can track shows within HBO Now. Though there many apps to track TV shows, as well as inform you when new episodes are available. Now since you have an Android TV I’m going to assume you also have an Android phone one of my favorite TV tracking apps for Android is SeriesGuide. If your using IOS I personally like TV Time.
Never heard of twee. But looks like a tracking app. I use
Series Guide - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
and Movie Mate - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.moviematelite
I use an android app on my android tv box and tablet and phone.
It's called SeriesGuide. You add all the shows you like and it sends you a notification when it begins to air. You can look at upcoming shows that are about to air or the opposite you can look at shows that have just aired recently.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide&hl=en
So 50% of viewers have not arrived in the smartphone age where you can simply add a show to your Series Guide APP and always know when the next episode of ANY series you follow will air.
sigh... i bet the biggest drop off is old people as well?
-> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
if you have a Android device (smartphone / tablet) i STRONGLY recommend this app: Series Guide
You just add the Shows you like (new or old) and you get a nice managable list of Episode Guides and it tells you when NEW Episode air (and only the new ones, no reruns.) and you then make a checkmark on the episodes you've seen / have collected.
I use SeriesGuide. It keeps track of all my TV shows American, and Korean. Has a section for upcoming and recently aired episodes, and works offline.
I used to use MAL, but now I use Trakt to keep up with my movies,tv shows and anime the I just sync it all with SeriesGuide It's a fantastic app and the developer keeps it updated.
if you are watching tv series , you should download SerieGuide : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
I have some iOS friends who are missing this app badly , it's only available on android :)
I've been using SeriesGuide, which syncs with trakt. The only issue that I've had with it is that it displays when a series first airs using the worldwide date. This is an issue with a series like Humans or The Fall when they are broadcast on BBC months before they are available in the US market.
seriesguide is great for TV shows
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
Reddit Sync
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.laurencedawson.reddit_sync
I use SeriesGuide on Android. Let's me keep track of episodes watched and episodes yet to come. Phenomenal app that let's you connect your trakt account if you have it
I fucking love SeriesGuide so much.
Apps I like in no particular order -
Just wondering if you have ever tried Series Guide and how it compares to TVShow Time. Does TST have trakt integration?
I've used SeriesGuide on Android, it syncs with trakt.tv as well.
I like SeriesGuide
linkme: SeriesGuide
Edit: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
do you mean TV Time? there's SeriesGuide
I'm using SeriesGuide: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
SeriesGuide is also a worth-checking-out app in this regard.
Heard of SeriesGuide, though I don't use it.
It's back up for me. Play Store
Try the Series Guide app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
+1 the best TV show tracking app .. nothing else comes close SeriesGuide
Exactly this. I use the Android app series guide to add my friends recommendations to trakt
Which you can use on android via SeriesGuide, which I use.
SeriesGuide
Can sync with trakt, or not.
Also has a convenient cyberflix addon if you happen to use cyberflix.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
SeriesGuide is amazing
I currently use SeriesGuide and I like it.
(Of course it has not all features, but the design is androidy.)
I like Series Guide. No ads in the free version. Tons of options.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
I use trakt.tv but it doesn't have an app so I use this one with it https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
This one is the best I used Series guide you can connect trakt.tv if you want
Try this one, SeriesGuide :)
Something like Series Guide perhaps?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
I use a Google Docs spreadsheet as well as trakt.tv, using SeriesGuide when updating from Android.
Use trakt.tv & Series Guide app.
I use the SeriesGuide app on my phone. If I'm not interested in reviewing movies, is there a reason to use Letterboxd?
I use TVShowTime (they have a website and apps for both Android and iOS). Many people like trakt.tv (a good Android app that can be linked with your trakt profile). Trakt let's you log movies and TV shows but isn't good for discussion, neither is TVShowTime.
My recommendation: Letterboxd for film logging and discussion. TVShowTime for TV show logging and r/television or the subs specifically for single TV shows for discussion. If you just want to log them Trakt is probably your best choice.
Or SeriesGuide. Way nicer UI imo
You want SeriesGuide. Nothing else even begins to compare.
If you use Android, I highly recommend the app SeriesGuide.
Yes! I second SeriesGuide for Android! It's perfect
I don't know of an app that does all of these at once but I use: SeriesGuide for tv shows and movies My Game Collection to track my games Goodreads for books My Bgg for board game stuff
Give Seriesguide a try.
Been using it for years and the dev is really responsive!
If you have an Android device, SeriesGuide is super handy.
I think this does. Haven't used it in years. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
It has been removed, don't know why... I'm going to try SeriesGuide instead.
Not sure about movies but for shows SeriesGuide is the best out there.

Seriesguide, there's no better app to track tv shows out there. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
> And a similar app to Tv Time that works and have some privacy in mind.
seriesguide now has a movies tab which has a landscape mode and the posters aren't oversized
I use series guide. Link
SeriesGuide, it works for both series and moovies, it's FOSS and it looks beautiful.
Same problem try series guide... I've using it for 2 years now.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
The best app for series tracking is called SeriesGuide. I've been using it for years and it's great.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
Series Guide use trakt.tv and you can connect your account
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
Download that and add your trakt account too it.
I use this to track what TV shows I watch and what episode I'm on. I'll scroll through this app when looking for something to watch instead of scrolling through Netflix or something, because all my shows from all my streaming services are listed in one place. It also let's you make custom lists, which I use to divide up my shows by genre or mood.
Like the above app but it's for movies. It also has a social aspect with reviews and user created lists and things like that.
Cute little daily mood tracker. It checks in every day and you tell it your mood and then you can see your mood patterns over time. It also let's you add activities, so like you can see that on bad days you: binge watched TV, ate junk food, didn't go outside - and on good days you: went out with friends, cleaned your house, worked on a project. It's been really positive for my mental health and making me feel like I have some power over my bad days. Also it's just super cute.
Basically just helps you get into better habits. You list what you want to do and how often you want to do it. Really helpful for self care when you're feeling depressed.
I use this to keep off of my phone. Like if I'm reading or watching a movie and I'm not focusing because I keep picking up my phone, I open this app. It sets a timer and if you don't use your phone during this period, you grow a tree. Each tree goes into your little forest and you can see it grow and get bigger. It helps with the almost subconscious tic of just picking up my phone and opening reddit.
Clue:
A simple and nice looking period tracking app.
Helps me save money without having to think about it.
ALSO it texts me my checking account balance every morning which is amazing because I'm one of those people who will avoid checking my balance because I'm nervous about how little money is in there and that's obviously a terrible habit. This forces me to be very conscious of my spending.
(BTW if anyone wants to sign up for Digit you could use my code and I'll get rewarded for it. You don't have to, but hey I don't make very much money and I'm not trying to turn down a chance for some free cash I think it also gives you $5 if you use someone's code?)
Tells you the best times to get up and pee during a movie at the theater. Seriously amazing app because I always have to pee during a movie and I hate it!! It even summarizes the scene that you're missing so you can read it on your way back from the bathroom.
I use this to track my yearly reading goals.
Really nice for white noise while I'm sleeping. Lots of different options to choose from.
You connect your library card and then you can checkout ebooks and audiobooks on your phone without having to go to the library. SERIOUSLY amazing for audiobooks, which can be super expensive.
Hands down my favorite podcast app. I just think it looks really nice and I like the way it's organized. Also it has a sleep timer and you can make playlists which is awesome.
Wow this comment got super long. I hope at least one person out there discovers a new app they like from my comment xD
I use series guide.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
It links with trakt.
the Series Guide app is highly recommended to track TV shows
La mia è serieGuide per android, si integra con trakt.
I use SeriesGuide, you can install it on Android TV
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
I've tried the TV Time app on Android, but it isn't my style - lots of wasted space. I'm using Series Guide on Android and used Twee for a while. Both have some syncing but they're either paid or for with a poorly designed site.
So, my setup now is to use this TV calendar (this is a good alternative, too), with Series Guide on Android (Twee is okay too), and the exported iCal file from the calendar site to Google calendar. I hide the TV calendar for most of my regular calendar apps but can use a simple calendar widget on my tablet or phone to display the information more densely (no banners and graphics, just a small text list with day, start time, and title in one line).
That covers about 95% of my needs, but there's always an oddball show or something announced that I want to remember, so I have a page in OneNote that has an embedded Excel document which serves as the 'master list'. That has columns with check boxes for whether it's in the Android app and the calendar site, if it's streaming, where it's streaming, if it's new, and notes (like 'last season'). All those have conditional formatting so I can tell when I'm missing info and where to go for streaming stuff at a glance.
Yeah, it sounds crazy when I type it out, but I didn't do it all at once - more like over the course of 2-3 years - and I mainly use the calendar site. If I hear something is new, I throw it in a simple OneNote text box, since that's installed everywhere, and take 5 minutes to review that every couple months when I run a computer backup.
Even I use that. I like it because it also includes anime and shows airing time according to my time zone. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide
I use SeriesGuide on Android. Very beautifully designed. It syncs with my trak.tv account as well.
If your running an Android device, Series Guide has a nice widget that shows you all upcoming shows.
Try the app Series Guide. I Google Play link
App-wise SeriesGuide is what I use to keep track of things
I use SeriesGuide for TV tracking.
I don't think so. I use SeriesGuide on my android to stay up to date.
+1 for SeriesGuide.
Has a great material UI, Trakt.TV syncing is great and even does movies too.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.battlelancer.seriesguide&hl=en_GB
SeriesGuide does TV shows and Movies... what does Movie Mate do that SG doesn't?
SeriesGuide - cu aplicaţia asta monitorizez serialele la care mă uit. Mă uit la foarte multe şi mi-ar fi greu să le urmăresc pe fiecare în parte pentru a vedea când apar episoade noi. Cred că e cea mai buna aplicaţie de genul, are o interfaţă foarte faină;
Tiny Scanner - face facultatea şi sesiunile mult mai uşoare;
SD Maid - nu ştiu dacă e neapărat nevoie de ea în general, dar pe mine m-a ajutat mult când aveam vechiul telefon şi aveam mereu memoria full;
Story Saver - well...;
Followers Assistant - ca să le dau unfollow naşpeţilor care îmi dau unfollow;
AZ Screen Recorder - ştiu că unele telefoane au funcţia asta încorporată. Nu ştiu dacă al meu o are sau nu, dar până acum am folosit aplicaţia asta şi sunt mulţumit de ea;
InShot - eu o folosesc pentru o editare super light a videoclipurilor pe care le pun pe Instagram / story;
VSCO & Snapseed - principalele aplicaţii pe care le folosesc pentru editarea pozelor pe telefon;
Timbloader - pe asta o foloseam la un moment dat pentru descărcarea unor clipuri porno de pe Tumblr, but... 17dec2018rip.
