shell gas has always been a better quality gas so i've read. Who really knows? Oddly though, more shell stations are now popping up, so prices should be coming down. Do yourself a favor and get the gasbuddy app to find the best deals. I got shell gas 3.19 premium the other day in east meadow & the other in rvc when the one in wantagh is like 3.65
I know google maps has a feature that if you set a destination and drive; it will show gas prices along the road you are driving on. I liked that I didn't have to figure out if I should stop here, or keep driving and hope for a better deal. It pretty much said "next stop has this price, and the stop after that has this price".
Gas Buddy is a good app to have in general to find the nearest, cheapest gas station. The android app doesn't have this feature but their easy to use(even on a phone) website has a feature where you can tell it where you are and where you want to go and tell it your car's gas mileage and it will plot out every single gas stop you'll need to make. I've used it to map out a trip from Oklahoma to Las Vegas and back. Worked way better than I expected.
GasBuddy: Find gas stations and gas prices near you. It's great for road trips when you know you need to get gas soon, but want to pick the best exit off the highway to stop at.
Memory Map: Shows what your phone's memory and storage are being allocated to. The cool thing is, though, that it shows it a map like form of squares so you can actually see what is taking up the most space.
Open Table: Make reservations at restaurants without ever having to speak to an actual human.
Wifi Analyzer: Shows all wifi channels in your area so you can determine if / which one is causing interference.
I recommend GasBuddy. I use it to compare prices that aren't too far out of my way.
I can highly recommend GasBuddy , been using it for a year now and always helps me out. Defo worth a check out!
No, it hasn't. I use GasBuddy for a reason.
COSTCO GAS ROUTINES:
GasBuddy - Android Version - Everybody loves cheap gas
Waze was already mentioned, which is good for traffic and alerts (road hazards, cops).
Gasbuddy will get you to closest / cheapest / favorite gas stations.
Glympse or Glympse Express will let you quickly share your location, live, with others. It sends them a link to view your location in real time and auto-expires. You can set the time period to share from 5 minutes to 4 hours. It's not only great to let people know you've left and are on your way to them (so they can be ready or know when to expect you), but also for helping find each other at a festival or public park or something. The recipient does not need Glympse installed to view.
Pro-tip: if you have a phone with always on command capabilities, like the Moto X, you can use voice commands to launch apps and even settings without ever touching the phone. For example, "launch Waze" is common, but I set a Tasker task to brighten my screen and set volume to the max and exported it as an app called "Jupiter" and can just say "launch Jupiter" to get it to run and change my settings.
