Access to Insight has English translations of parts of the Tipitaka. They even have it indexed by subject which can be very helpful. :)

EDIT: Sorry, you remarked that you don't have internet at home. Access to Insight has apps for Android, iOS and Windows Phone that allow for offline viewing of the material :)

It is on android but it hasn't been updated for quite some time.
