Past level 8, badges matter. I suggest syncing your stats with Agent Stats (Android) (iOS), as it can calculate a rough estimate of the time to reach your next level and badges.
As always, fields grant you 1563 AP apiece, which is the quickest and easiest way of gaining a good amount of AP. Always full deploy when you can, mod, link, and make small fields. Glyph hacking and recharging will provide small bonuses.
Agent stats. You need to download an uploader app from Google Play (or AppStore on iOS), and share your Ingress profile to it.
For those unfamiliar/on mobile: Site/app is Agent Stats.
Participated in an RP8 build in Lodi, CA to meet the locals and get dinner. Afterwards, a friend and I hit up downtown Sacramento, CA, smashing two EP8 farms in the process and dumping untold hundreds of bursters into The Grid.
once I hit lv 8 and gone to a satellite anomaly. I started to make a bucket list of "places to visit." it will be places where I want to go to get unique hacks and captures, network with the local players, do missions, and learn local lore. I also want to go to a primary anomaly site as well so I can say I've done them both. of course, always be on the lookout for places that dont have portals but should be. you have no idea how many little towns that are around you that needs new portals. the same thing goes for missions as well. badges are nice, but nothing sounds more exciting then an augmented adventure to take you to new towns.
I also started to "chart" my stats. agent stats is an app to allow you to make yourself a better history of your ingress stats. I use to be a eve-online player where graphs and stats are like porn to me.
Would like a way to sync with Google Hangouts and/or a way to share a certain location or PokeStop/gym. Would also be cool to add something like an events page as it would mean you don't have to worry about setting up an event through Google+. Maybe also add a way to share a screenshot of your trainer page and have it record the stats to your in-app profile like in this Ingress app.
Other then that, the fact that you can set the range is a cool feature and this is definitely something the main Pokemon Go app needs.
Well, the deadline is passed so I know I cant win, but congratulations to those who did!
