Been trying to find an app to finally stop using a dying app, flow home launcher. so I was looking for multi social network feed.
Im following 2 projects closely,
first is aggro by /u/danielrearden which over a couple of updaes has advanced stupidly fast and is what I’m using nowadays. It still needs work but its perfectly usable.
Second is socialize by /u/aeurich which is first focusing on features, and then in adding more feeds when things are stable enough (ooossite approach to aggro).
Earlier this year I found glextor and have been using its repository capabilities like a madman because at this point I basically collect apps (been trying new apps since 2010).
And sadly the last app I’ll suggest seems to be abandoned. Slidebox was a photo organizer app which let you send pictures to specified folders using a tinder like ui. It was pretty much featureless otherwise and In construction (wouldn’t detect some folders) but it showed lots of potential. it hasn’t been updated since March and I contacted the dev with no answer.
Linkme: glextor, slidebox
Aggro: multiple social feed that bypassed apis by scrapping
Reddit saves: manages your reddit saves
Appchat: chatrooms for every app you have installed
Wechat: android client is a mess
We3: interesting idea but it’s heavy and sluggish
Snap swipe drawer: bought out and abandoned
Keymonk keyboard: perfect as it is, but sad to see it lose relevance. only nintype comes close
Noyze: customize volume panel. Dev made it free after google removed it from the store by accident. Somebody forked it and reuploaded it but it was just a conservation effort.
Unicon: use icon packs on all the phone, not just on launchers
Widgetmaker: combine widgets into one
Metawidgets: scrape data from sites to make your own widget
Zoom for tasker: tasker’s version of widgets. Lots of potential but botched execution
Linkme: aggro
A proper multiple social reader However it hasn’t been updated in months
Edit: bot got the wrong one. This is the one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.reardenapps.aggro
This exists but you cant preview video. This had potential but was apparently abandoned
