I only use it for word files going through power points etc. I use my Verizon MiFi on both devices with Air Display and wala I can now view presentations read documents etc. Tried it once for some multi-screen gaming but won't do that again their is a little latency on the second monitor.

You could use something like AirDisplay that just adds another display via a little server app you run on the PC.

Air Display 2. I can vouch for their iOS version. I use it on an old iPad as a media center controller

This says it can. Just type "second display" into Google play and browse through them. I see at least two that say they can do it.
