That's great you've decided to start Welsh! Some resources, if you're interested:
Dal Ati - Welsh learner's TV programme
BBC online courses - archived but still useable
Really good free dictionary app: Apple ac Android
Say Something in Welsh - paid online course, but really good if you're serious
Also, come over to /r/learnwelsh if you've got any questions or want a chat.
Hmm, that's unusual. I've seen it before and it always looked fairly modern (first published 2010). Maybe it lists modern and more old-fashioned words at the same time.
I'd say one of the best dictionaries for learners around nowadays is Ap Geiriaduron. It's an app created by Bangor University available on Apple or Android and it's entirely free!
Some ideas to start with:
There are a few sets of vocab flashcards on iTunes. (Something else on iTunes are these dialogues too.)
You could also search for Welsh or Cymraeg on Quizlet.
And you definitely need to download the great free dictionary app on your phone if you haven't already. It's on Apple and Android.
