If it's in Portuguese just click on versions and change it to the language you want.
It's lightweight, not bothersome, supports amoled (has themes), etc. It's overall a very nicely built app.
Edit: Now that I look into it I don't think you can change the menu language, only the Bible itself :/ oh well, it's a shame because it's a really good app...
If you want one for you phone. I'd use this app. Its called the KJV, but you can load other modern versions, even other languages too. I have it set to NIV. You can easily go to each book, chapter, and verse. You can also highlight verses you want to bookmark, you can even color code the highlights aswell. I used that app to read through the whole Bible, which took over a year to do by the way. Looking through the English versions, I don't think they have ESV, but there is the American Standard Version and Basic English Version. There's also audio you can listen to, but only for certain versions.
Also its free.
I'm assuming she is grade school age from the op so if that's not the case my advice will probably sound out of place. If she lives in a christian country then I'm sure she could find a church near her with Saturday service so her parents wouldn't know where she's going and just say she's out with friends. If her parents watch her too closely for that to be an option then she could start reading the bible. Obviously she wouldn't want to be seen carrying around a bible so if she has a smartphone, tablet or laptop she could get a bible on that and as long as she is careful no one would ever know. If she doesn't have any of those then I'm sure she could hide a bible in her room but she would of course have to be a lot more careful about that.
Other than that you should probably help make sure she has the basics of christianity down, mainly salvation and what exactly the trinity is.
Also I'm sure if she explained her situation to a church they would be willing to baptise her privately whenever would be most convenient for her so no one else finds out.
