Its just Bit Blaster yes, the XL is what I added to imply extra large for the big screen version lol. I know, it's kind of lame. I just wanted to differentiate them.
I used this form to suggest Bit Blaster for the program, and they selected it and featured it this month :) So I can confirm it's legit.
cant find it on the playstore?. Looks like perfect crapware (to play whilst on the crapper). will buy if i can find it?.
Is this it? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.NVS.bitblaster&hl=en
also can i buy it to support you and get rid of ads?, i've not installed it yet.
EDIT:
Oh no tried to buy it on Android and your apps wants all of the following
All i want to do is pay you for app, I shouldn't have to do all that !, so I cant pay you and use your app :(
If I say not to permissions as above, i'm prompted to choose another account. Cant I buy your game and not have you do the above?.
How odd, i cancelled (and was able to pay) and now the button changed to "THX :)" YAY!
I love Bit Blaster
I tend to make my games so that they are games I enjoy playing first. I'm a little selfish. I love a good simple game mechanic that lets me play some quick rounds.
Best [DEV] Nickervision Studios
These games are made by one guy in his spare time, he has made 16 games in the last year as he has taught himself how to program and learned game development. Some of those games are Bit Blaster, High Rise, and Flip Flop,He takes great care while making his games, making them accessible and fun to play over and over. He has the option in all his games to remove ads for about a buck. He should get much more attention than he does.
Best [GAME] Bing Bong
This was Nickervision's first hit game, its so simple yet so addictive and he credits /r/androidgaming with its success as it received so much support from this sub.
Best [People's Choice] When Bethesda announced Fallout Shelter for mobile. I just found this to be the most interesting thing that happened in mobile this year because of the backlash about it being iOS first and then later coming to Android. As well as how obsessed people became with the game. In the end, the game wound up being a little shallow but I think a lot of people had a lot of fun with it.
Full disclosure: I am nickervision's girlfriend, so I see how much work he puts in on his games as his hobby, and he really ensures people have a good experience and interacts with the players of his games. I know he really dreams of it one day being his actual job. :)
My game that they chose is Bit Blaster, it's an arcade shoot em up type game. :)
Hey everyone!
My new game Bit Blaster was released last week and I have got some great feedback from the first 1000 players about any minor bugs to fix in the first patch. I am now looking for some suggestions on new enemies / powerups that I may possibly be able to include within that first patch before Christmas. I am a one man team and can always use help / feedback from the community to continue to make my games better.
For those of you that hadn't seen Bit Blaster yet, it is a retro-ish, arcade style shoot em up that goes forever. You do your best to survive as long as you can and fight an army of ever increasingly difficult enemies. The further you get in the game (as your score gets higher) new enemies are constantly introduced with different mechanics for you to avoid and contend with. Using 8 awesome powerups like the classic splitshot, lasers, and much more you must try to survive. All while picking up coins and unlocking different ships with various speed, shield, and rate of fire modifiers.
Here is a trailer!
Here are a couple screenshots: 1 2 3
I hope if you give it a shot you have some fun with it and leave a review on the Play Store. As well, don't hesitate to share it with your friends and family, every share always helps a small developer like myself.
Thanks for playing everyone, I look forward to your feedback :)
