This seems to happen occasionally. I've probably looked for an MRT exit once a week or every couple of weeks for the last ~8 years and sometimes they exist, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they're not on the new maps, but were on the old maps (if you can still get to that one), or vice versa, or Google Earth.
And the names changed every couple of weeks for a while, I remember. I couldn't say exactly anymore but I swear I've seen Taipei Main Station variously labeled as: Taipei Main, Taipei main station, taipei station, and at one point it was even all lowercase and strung together as a single word: taipeimainstationmrt. And similar for other stations. I do remember seeing like 'jhungsiaodunhuamrtstation' for a while, too.
Also, afaik, Banqiao has and always will be Bangiao according to Google.
No idea what Google is doing in Taiwan, but they're not getting much right.
For something helpful, just use one of the local sites, they're way better than Google although it has a bit of a learning curve.
For MRT: click your station then click the station location button on the left, just below the info table. (Below the bicycle icon)
For bus: click the "Address locator" (bottom button on the left), then right click the map, and you'll get all of the bus stations, click a station pin to display the lines that stop there, then click a line number to see the real time bus location info.
For mobile (bus): get the app, and if it's not in English when you run in the first time, click the gear icon at the very bottom right, then click the first option to set your language.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nexti.android.bustaipei probably, if you'll be in Taipei and taking the bus a lot.
All the above, and add BusTracker Taipei
