Cronometer is what I use. There's a free version, and a monthly subscription version, but halfway between those, there's an ad-free app version - it's $2.99 but it's great.

I switched pretty quickly from MFP to cronometer since I wanted to keep an eye on the micros.
I should have worded the title better - I'm cool with one-time purchase... it's the subscription that I don't like. My wallet is already tapped as it is. I'll check out Cronometer.
Maybe once she gets a hang of the Keto diet, she can help me out and I can create an app to give back to the community.
I haven't seen anyone say Cronometer.

I prefer Cronometer over MFP or any other diet tracker. It tracks nearly every nutrient. IMO, if you're going to be tracking your food and managing your diet, you might as well use an app that tracks everything. In MyFitnessPal you can seemingly hit your macros and the few other nutrients listed, but still be deficient in many others without knowing it.
It's easy to hit macros and calorie goals, but micros are just as important, and finding a balanced diet personalized to you that takes care of everything required by the complex system that is the body can prove more challenging. This means you're likely deficient if you haven't looked into it already.
I believe Cron-Ometer has that market segment crushed.
Cronometer I paid something for it, like two or three bucks.
