Here's my small text-based game:

I don't even have artworks ready yet (i'm working on them), BUT!
If you want to see something ridiculously bad & have a laugh, then visit my play store page :)
Have a good day and hope you can give me some feedback on my poor ass game.
I have an Android text adventure ([not sure if i can link it here? it's free!]
edit - I already removed the death penalty in newest version and it's free to play so if you could give me feedback on it, it'd be great.
It's kind of a survival/entire world covered in darkness/do something about it and live style.
But lots of the players reported that "yeh its cool, died at XXX turn, so I turned it off" which got me thinking.
Should I avoid the Game Over screen? Seems like it.
Currently if you have 0 fuel & 0 lightness, you can no longer continue playing and the game ends. THIS only happens if player stops paying attention to fuel count.
I considered changing it so that if you have 0 fuel and 0 lightness you can "start fire" again for free (so the game continues) but it increases the threat of negative events happening further into the game.
So my question:
Does anyone have any experience with the debate of having Game Over or avoiding it so that the player doesn't give up?
//edit: Do you have android 4.0+ smartphone? If you message me, I can send you a link to my game's Play Store page so you can check it out yourself and give me some suggestions.
Drav, your English is solid, no worries, DL'd your game too, thanks, gonna play today. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dravic.myapplication&hl=en
There was this article once, I think it was about Flea from Chili Peppers, and it talked about how all those musically gifted kids are socially challenged because they spent so much time in their rooms playing music instead of blabbering with the other popular kids, and the older I got the more I realized that it's the same for artists or writers or game devs. So last night Star Trek was on BBC and Bones had this quote, I wrote it down, he goes, "In all this galaxy there are 3 million earthlike worlds, and in the universe 3 million million galaxies, and in all of that, perhaps more, only one of each of us." I dug that. He was giving Kirk a pep talk. Good friend.
Project title: Darkness Cometh
Systems: Android 4.0+, smartphone app
1.21 version released, based on feedback so far!
Promotion type: feedback, game is free and has no ads, it requires no special permissions as well!
Promoter's name: Dravic - aspiring, newbie indie developer/IncogitableZ studio
Darkness Cometh is a text-based resource management/survival-esque dventure/incremental game
It has no graphics and is focused on progressing the story and upgrading your hideout.
It's my first game and I chose this kind of genre because I love text games.
A simple idea turned into game by me, single developer.
If you like text adventures and/or loved games like "a dark room", hopefully you will like my app. I will read all the suggestions, questions, opinions, feedback and answer to them.
I am looking for feedback on this first game I ever made - and ask nothing in return. =)
A Google Play review would be great thing to receive, though - rate it as you see fit, I don't mind, but do review if you try it! It helps me a lot.
Be honest, I have thick skin!
Have a good day and hope you can give me some feedback on my poor ass game.
Hello!
I'd like to share my Android game with you. Requirements are Android 4.0 or higher.
I made it myself, therefore it has no fancy graphics. The game's genre is rarely explored, and I love it personally, so I tried my best to deliver!
It's a text-based resource management/incremental/adventure game.
It is my first game, I released it's full version for free and there are no ads or additional permissions required.
I hope you enjoy it! Please, report back to me with your feedback.
It's very important to me to hear your opinions - I want to improve!
I am extremely grateful to anyone who decides to pick it up. =)

My game is going to receive a lot of updates in the coming months.
I just released it but the feedback so far was really cool (it's an Android game so I don't know if you're interested).
People have complained about some issues which I decided to fix in the near future.
One of the issues was that it's too short, therefore I will be adding additional Acts to my game as the time passes.
I have no idea when Act II will come, but I'd say it's 2-4 weeks away.
If you're interested, here's the link.
I don't think this is a good indicator of what kind of developer I am, but my game has came out in August and it's already in 1.21 version (there was no content added yet, just reworked UI and some game logic bugs, quirks, fixes).
