If you like Buriedbornes and also enjoy Roguelike card games like Slay the Spire check out another game by the same developer -
It is a deck builder and I find it just an interesting as Slay the Spire, Card Quest etc. It can get a little busy with all the card effects in game and shares the same obtuse translation problems of Buriedbornes. However it is definitely a solid game.
DeckDeDungeon 2 is nice because (apart from startup) it's an offline single player card game. It's a semi deckbuilder mixed with CCG.
You build a deck of ten cards and each card played has a specific effect, like "deals X physical damage to the enemy and heals Y HP" or "gives Z skill for A turns". You go through 'floors' of a dungeon with each floor being a fight against a monster or a boss. You're given advance warning of when their attacks are to go off and which ones, and you can check what their attacks do so you can somewhat prepare accordingly. Get to the end to get rewards!
While you kill monsters, you're given a choice of five cards to add to your deck for the rest of that dungeon. The cards may be of some help but you don't know what the monsters in the later floors are capable of, so you're flying blind unless you're taking on the dungeon again (though some are once-only).
There seemed to be an energy system but I didn't play too hardcore to really hit it. There are only two sets of cards and the developer seems to have dropped support for it, so I'm not looking forward to the day when the server gets shut down. There's not really much on the Play Store like it, and it's a bit easier to understand than the first DeckDeDungeon too.
DeckDeDungeon2 by the same developer is fantastic and probably really the most similar you will find even though it's a card game.
I have not tried it so don't blame if it sucks but you should also try The Last Step

I really like TLK and here also are 2 new games I don't find as interesting but you could try.
Linkme: The Last Step, Randventure, The Lost Kingdoms a mobileRPG
I haven't played the mode in HS so I'm sorry if this isn't even close.
DeckDeDungeon2 is something of an RL card game. You start with a small deck and as you defeat monsters, you're given a selection of cards to take one from, so it's a bit of a deckbuilder too. You only get to keep the cards until you win the dungeon, then you're given an actual permanent reward.
Every card does something, be it physical damage, magical damage, healing you, providing you a damage shield, or allowing you to draw cards. Many cards provide buffs and debuffs when played and these stack, and some cards have passive versions of those buffs that always apply as long as they're in your deck.
Despite the screenshots, it's in English and the translation is understandable. It only requires online at the very start (once you've downloaded all data) and you can play offline from there. The dev took out IAPs a good while back but the option to buy gems is still there though it won't do anything. I haven't done really much with it but I did enjoy what I played of it. There are some challenge dungeons where you're limited in some way and there's one dungeon each day that you can only challenge once win or lose.
DeckDeDungeon2 is really cool : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Nussygame.DeckDeDungeon2&hl=en_US
DeckDeDungeon 2 is a single-player deckbuilder card game where you challenge monsters in a dungeon and pick from a number of cards as you advance through to the end. There isn't very much content but it's not a bad game once you get around the kinda Engrishy text and figure out what all of the effects do. It requires internet access to start but you can disable it once it's running at least.
The first game in the series is kind of the same way but I didn't play it much.
Also check out DeckDeDungeon2 if you haven't already.
It contains elements of a CCG as well as roguelike elements and is quite original.
DeckDeDungeon2 has elements of deck building and deck construction. It's quite good how you can set up your deck beforehand to hopefully synergize with cards you aquire during game.
Card Crawl "mini" deck building.
No I wanted the second one.
