For those curious - here's the google play link for this game. It's fun! A bit simplistic overall, but it's really satisfying to pull off a clever strategy and get your guys farther up the order than their car's pace would deserve.

Honestly, I think this is the coolest arcade racer on Android. Its been out for a while now, but I still think it's worth a mention. Surprised I didn't think to post it here sooner. The design is really neat with a low-poly inspiration. The game functions exactly like one of those 1980's race games in the arcade, but with enhanced visuals that actually make it attractive to watch.
The soundtrack is absolutely killer! If you're into that 80's renegade / retro style of track, then you'll definitely love racing to these tunes. In addition it uses Google Play Games and Achievements as well. In addition to sharing times with Facebook friends for competitivness. I disliked the Facebook integration, but I was willing to look past it for the benefits.
~~Solid 5/7.~~
5 Stars from me.
I've taken the opportunity to download Motorsport Manager for free this week. Maybe the best management game about the world of motorsport available on Android right now. It has not been developed for the last 2 years but there aren't any relevant bugs. It's worth a go for every motorsport fan.
Yes even tho you're not supposed to see two of them. Anyway, it goes like this. RR3 has two versions, one called ''RR3 ROW'' and another ''RR3 NA''. Now, the difference's are basically NONE since it's the same game, the only thing that changes is that these two versions are avaiable only in specific regions.
*ROW = certain regions and other's blocked
*NA = North America (usually they allow countries such as South America too in it)
RR3 ROW: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ea.games.r3_row&hl=en
RR3 NA; https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ea.games.r3_na&hl=en
It's almost identical to hill climb racing in almost every way... from the premise all the way to the style. It is hill climb racing with extra stuff in it. I'm sorry but it seems like you were really "inspired" by it in a not good way. Even that thumbnail, they have bridges like that. I can't help but feel like you're just completely ripping off another game...
Literally the only differences are slight graphics tweaks, a couple of obstacles, shadow racing, and pizzas in the car. And that's it. Otherwise this is either a blatant ripoff or a miracle of jesus. Coins, bridges, premise, overall style, I'm sure you get the coins to upgrade your car, and instead of breaking your neck when the car flips the pizzas drop out and you lose. This is a total copy.

I actually really like Motorsport Manager on Android. It's ~~free without ads~~ $2.49 (I got it on sale so mistakenly thought it was free) and there's no need or prompting to buy any of the IAP. You still have to sit through the races, but they're fairly short and you have to do stuff during them, so it's not a drag.
I've never played the PC version, and the Android version is probably pretty simple comparatively, but I like it so much on mobile that I feel like I probably wouldn't enjoy the PC version if it's much different. I wound up skipping the recent Humble Bundle with it.
I've tried the all of three but in the end I've been playing only Asphalt 8 because the IAPs are less invasive than in RR3. Yeah, even if it's a Gameloft game.
I would suggest to have a look on Assoluto racing, in the near future it could become a serious competitor.
Do yourself a favor, OP. Download Riptide Renegade, it's the closest thing to a AAA console title on mobile right now. It just came out a few days ago, and it's off the fucking hook.

I found a game called Does not commute. It's really fun, you have to drive fifteen or so cars to a destination on an areal view map, one at a time. The twist is that every turn you go, your previous cars are on the map, so eventually there are fifteen cars all driven by you, trying to navigate the map. Really fun.
Couldn't recommend this game enough, it's been keeping me very busy over the past week, for a one man team, they've done rather well.
I haven't played your game, but it reminds me a lot of a game I played a long time ago called PAKO, try playing that and see what makes it work. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.treemengames.pako&hl=en&gl=US
Its called Drive Ahead!
Basically it's you and an opponent, and you have to hit his head with your car. If your head gets hit, you lose. It's really fun!
"Drive Ahead!" is a local multiplayer (Two players on one screen), me an my 8 year old brother enjoy it a lot, I hope you'll like it. Stay safe man :)

Motorsport manager is the first sim that comes to mind, I like it a lot and it's works well on mobile devices. Fiz is quite fun too, in a similar vein to many kairosoft games. I don't know anything about beer but still enjoyed it.
Edit: bot doesn't appear to be working...

There's a racing management game on mobile which lets you do a good bit of what you mentioned, its called "Motorsports Manager." Its more of a F1 simulator than NASCAR, but its pretty fun to operate how your entire team runs.
Gotta love Motorsport Manager
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.game.motorsportmanager
You manage a racing team and get to manage your racers during the races themselves as well. Massive timesucker.
Can confirm; that's a good list. Punch Quest and Bird vs Buzzsaw
(Source: my ravaging addiction to B vs. BS; Also its almost ruined my sister's life)
Also, I've rarely seen it linked on this sub before, but I've just started with Pako Car Chase Simulator and its a great little bathroom game with a lightweight install.
I played NSS a while back and really enjoyed it. Don't think there's anything like it but if you're into Football Manager, rpg, micro management, strategy and that sort of thing I highly recommend Motorsport Manager. The game got me hooked like nothing other. It's really good.
Plus, it's on sale in the US as well for 30 cents. I got lucky and caught it a few days ago.
Reminds me of B-Spec mode in Gran Turismo.
If you're in for a flight then "Mediocre" makes great games. I can personally recommend "Does not Commute" and "Smash Hit". Their games are 100% ad free and offline friendly, but they don't allow you to make checkpoints in the free version. Which means that if you're going to be playing for a long time at a time, it won't bother you and you can beat your previous scores, but on the free version you won't be able to go back to where you left of. If you decide that it's worth your time and money that the paid versions cost around $3.

Horizon Chase Turbo is one of the highest rated premium racers on Android.

Pay $3 once and you're done. Good game for kids and adults.
Assoluto Racing is my favorite. It has realistic controls and decent cars, upgrades, and painting, but graphics, physics, and sound are just ok. If you have a connectable keyboard and a racing game on Steam, you can use Gforce Now to play the Steam game on your phone.
As a new Dad(my boy is 3 months) my go-to games are Beat Hazard 2(was a huge fan of the original on Steam) and Horizon Chase.
BH2 is just a really fun game to play. There's no IAPs or anything like that. Think of Asteroids visualizer on crack, set to your own music. The game also has multiple ships with unlocks through achievements. Also, you can win random ships with random stats for beating certain tracks, kinda like Borderlands loot. The enemies and boss fights are unique and based on how the song ebbs and flows. Just watch a couple of videos and you will see what I mean.
Horizon Chase is a pretty fun racer that is forgiving with touch controls. I wish I could say the same about Grid(which I also own). HC is just simcade'y enough to be slightly challenging. No IAPs except for the entire game unlock at $2.99. It has lots of tracks and cars to unlock, etc.
Anyways, these are the two best games on Android that I can recommend for someone that can only game for 5-10 minutes at a time. Also, for someone who doesn't play games with P2W mechanics, gatcha, time locks, etc.

Well, since it's a wishlist with no regard to licensing issues...
Get drive ahead! Two player same device 2d car battle game. It's honestly so fun 2 player locally. The second one is good too, it has a sports focus. (also good with 2 players, but the single player felt lacking compared to the first.

Awesome game, it's free to try and thrn $4 CDN for the complete game. Love the graphics, completly worth the cost.
Horizon chase word tour.
It is by far the best arcade racer I've ever played on mobile, the free version gives you quite a few tracks.
It costs very little and you get a lot of content when purchased with absolutely no bullshit ads or micro transactions.
I love the clean retro style graphics and the sound is awesome, absolutely love the music.
If you're after a no bullshit arcade racer then consider giving it a shot.

Honestly the 9.99 price is bad since it is always way cheaper on Google Play. Currently 2.99, I'm pretty sure I got it for 0.99 there. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vectorunit.silver.googleplay
While I can't play it on the go, I can play on all my TVs since they have Shield TVs on them. The port is the same as the mobile game as far as I'm aware as well.
Motorsport Manager is a great time killer, and it is very addictive. If you have not played it, check it out!
Download it here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.game.motorsportmanager
I was talking about this (quite fun) game. Once read a review which stated that the Steam game is sort of the same game but with way better graphics.
It doesn't support controllers but Drive Ahead! Needs just 2 buttons and is really great against a friend. Idk if the Sports one has multiplayer but the original does.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dodreams.driveahead
"Drive Ahead!"
Its a 2d game where you drive vehicles in an arena, and use different vehicles to bash the CPU characters heads in, without having your own bashed in. There are multiple modes, such as King of The Hill, Daily Challenge, Mission, and Classic (Classic is the first to win five 1v1 rounds). There are updates that include new vehicles, features, bug fixes, and Missions. The game is absolutely free, but you can buy coins to unlock things faster by using them in the slot machine for a chance at new vehicles, maps, and heads, although you should get coins from just playing the game normally, the only thing you can not earn for free is a head with a crown which is completely useless, as heads, maps and vehicles are randomly chosen at the start of the match, (except for if you play missions, or specify those options before the game, although it is more fun playing those randomly).

Well, since everyone else in recommending awesome games, I might as well mention Horizon Chase. A really fun, old school retro racing game, with brilliant graphics, and an awesome soundtrack. For me, it harked back to classic arcade games like Outrun, but with updated graphics, and solid gameplay. This is easily one of my favourite games on Android, and I urge you to check it out out. First five levels are free to play, which will give you a flavour of the game. After that, it's a one time IAP to unlock the awesomeness.
Haven't seen anyone else mention it, so here goes.
Horizon Chase: World Tour is a rather little-known arcade racer, it's free to download as a trial, but asks you to buy the rest of the game for few dollars after playing few of the first tracks. It's the only thing the game ever asks you to spend money on.
And the game itself is awesome. Fantastic low poly artstyle that looks blissful in motion, great presentation all-around in menus etc. that gives this really polished feel, very fun to play, smooth controls for a touch screen racer, loads of tracks and a TON of replay value if one goes for the pro scores. You should definitely check it out.
Grand Prix Story is my favorite too. If you want something similar and more beefed up, try Motorsport Manager. It's pretty incredible.
Hill Climb Racing is quite fun for short bursts on the mobile. It's basically just driving your chosen vehicle as far as you can without breaking your riders neck. No in app purchases are necessary and you generally only last around 5 minutes on a good run.
Does not Commute is a great game. Interesting concept that requires you to plan ahead. You drive multiple cars, on by another but all at the same time. Kind of difficult and hectic, but a lot of fun.
94% is also great game. Perfect if you don't have a lot of time, but still want to play something. You have to find answers people gave to a question/picture and get 94% of that.
I have to turn down the settings for Motorsport Manager to its lowest because it starts lagging during the race simulations.
MY friend always plays Asphalt 8. He says it has crazy local multi-player. Never tried it out myself though. Asphalt 8
