I was just thinking about working on my own app for tracking IBD-related stuff, then I came across this app called GI Monitor. I believe the company behind it was started by a guy who was diagnosed with Crohn's, and wanted to make it easier for patients to track their symptoms. Thought the community might appreciate it. I don't know what the funding model is.
EDIT: I'm reading the reviews of their Android app, and it's not looking too good. It hasn't been updated in nearly two and half years, either... I just want an open source solution to track your GI health, is that too much to ask for?
I am pretty bad at keeping up with it and generally only track if things deviate from my "normal", but I use GI Monitor [Google Play link] [iOS link]. It's pretty plain but pretty customizable. Apparently the community posts/"support group" in it can get pretty troll-y, but I just ignore that generally.
Bowelle looks so cool! Wish they had it for Android. The trend visualization in GI Monitor is not great and the UI feels a little clunky in general, so I'm going to hang around and hope people have some awesome Android alternatives!
I use GI Monitor It works great for me personally.
If you have an android it's here - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wellapps.gimonitor however if not I'm sure they have an apple version or people can recommend one
