I always have my phone with me, so I use something like this app to keep track of things. I agree that it should be built into the game itself somehow, but for now apps like this or overlays seem to work pretty well while you're in game.
I like to use this APP to keep track of bosses including off timer bosses.
Also talk to NPCs as alot of them start event chains, this means that instead of you showing up at the last minute and getting bronze, you get full credit.
As others recomended, travel to LA and then to other starting zones.
lastly 1-3 lvl difference should not be to punishing to a guardian, specially if you are decent and know how to dodge, so I would say try those harder areas, just do it slowly not agroing to many mobs.
Good luck and I'll see you in game!
I use This App it has timers and check list for every world boss of timer event and dungeon.
Good luck and I'll see you in game
I use This APP it lets me mark off any event I have done like world bosses and dungeon paths, and its a timer so I know what world boss is up even without Internet access.
Good luck and I'll see you in game
If you happen to own an Android device, this app can help you keep track of the world bosses, dry top, as well as dungeon paths.
If you don't have an Android, I have not found anything that will solve the dungeon path issues, but there is always gw2timer.com for the world bosses, and dry top.
