Not really. The paid versions of both HyperRogue and Ananias are only at <500 downloads, which is a massive pity as they're amazing games that need support. They both have a few thousand downloads of their free versions, though.
You should try Hyper Rogue https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.roguetemple.hyperroidgold which has a minimalistic gameplay and a very deep progress line.
All of these games are buy-once and have extensive demo or free versions, with no IAPs other than "buy the whole game once forever":
HyperRogue is a port of a PC game that plays very well on mobile. It's a stripped-down take on a roguelike that still manages to be very content-rich without the usual HP and stats, it focuses more on getting a lot of depth out of a few mechanics, and exploring all of the implications of its core premise. There is a free version you can try out that has most of the features of the full version. It's my favorite game of all time, and I have well over 200 hours across phone and PC versions.
Hoplite is not quite as content-rich as HyperRogue, but it's a very challenging tactical dungeon crawler with a lot of interesting player abilities. It too takes some simple mechanics and uses them to create complicated scenarios. It too has a free version, but the real meat of the game (the dailies) is not available in the free version.
Ending is a puzzle game based on tempo and initiative. It has a ton of individual puzzles hand-made by the developer, and there is also a procedurally generated mode. I don't remember there being a free version on mobile, but there's a web version that is free.
