Use India Against Spam app to report. It works amazingly. You'll get call a back from your operator in 2-3 days after reporting and in most cases they deactivate the sender's number.

You can report such messages to 1909, there is a format you follow. There is an Android app which does the work for you. Be ready for a follow up call from telecom company but the solution shall be permanent.

This app, in conjunction with Truecaller blocking, seems to have kept the telemarketers at bay for me...

I get rarely a spam msg or call nowadays.

I used to use this a few years ago. Airtel always replied to all my complaints. At least a dozen times I was told that the offending phone service was disconnected due to repeat violations

also IOS doesnt let apps read msgs or something like that. anyhow there isnt a database, since the msg banks are bought almost every day and the numbers change way too often almost like use and throw.

Tried India against spam mobile app ? It has been very effective at reducing amount unneeded crap that I get on my mobile.

Install this App if you are on Android and report such numbers. Works great. As there is way report such number on DND and the app makes the procedure easy.

In India, TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) have a service wherein one can forward a spammer's details to them and that will block their number.

There's an app called India Against Spam which takes advantage of this process and helps users automate it (sort of).

Check out the app, in case you have something like that in the UK or Turkey and you want to add that as a feature to your app too.
