I don't know about Kanji Draw, but I give Kana Draw a 4/5.

To write kana, I personally used an app called KanaDraw (Android), which for me was really useful in learning to write and identify them all correctly.

In addition, I can recommend an Anki deck called Katakana Reading Practice.
