I used to really enjoy Metal Slug Defense. It was a great game but they dumbed it down a lot and made a lot of the games automated. Pretty much a tug-of-war using characters from the Metal Slug games. You don't need to spend much money on the game either, a lot of stuff is given to you for free.

Haha glad It wasn't just me, and it was their broke ass game. Yeah I left a really shitty review for it on the google store. If your lookin for Free games I got lots to recommend that don't require any in game purchases(at least for base game play that doesn't take main game elements out)

-Metal Slug Defense (lots of ads though, but if you turn of wifi your good)

-Plague INC (still one of my favorites out there. Ads unless you pay .99 for premium- and any additional content is free

-PEGGLE!!!!! - Probably THE BEST arcade game you will get on your phone.

-Radiant Defense - Sweet Defense game, make your own paths, lots of levels, plenty of replay value

Metal Slug Defense had me going for months. Been about a year since I played but I had a lot of fun collecting the unlocks. Pretty simple and does get repetitive so idk if you'll like it but I really enjoyed it
