What is Reddit's opinion of Motion Tennis Cast?

One of the reviews complains about lag:

My thoughts (without even installing the app):

• I believe the communication between the phone and the ChromeCast introduces a bunch of delay, so some lag will be unavoidable.
• The actual sensors in the phone usually introduce a bit of delay. I notice that when I try playing racing games using tilt sensors, it is way worse than touch controls.
• The TV must be set to "game mode" in order to remove extra picture processing done in the TV itself (which would introduce even more lag).
• The freemium model that limits the amount of tries and forces in-app purchases is something I don't want to support.
