If you have a smartphone, you don't need to waste money on the cube. There are free apps that can time games for you (e.g. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.nand.MultiTimer for Android, I'm sure there's something equivalent for iOS). I find these a lot better than the cube (which you have to fiddle around with to find the right face that corresponds to the player).
I found MultiTimer by nandSOFT but it can't export the individual times unfortunately. I'm thinking to roll my own solution with Automate/Tasker and a stopwatch app with intent + widget capabilities.
I've got one, and I wouldn't recommend those at all. There's too much faffing around trying to figure out what cube face is your timer, and it actually just causes more stress. And it's expensive.
Getting a timer for your phone (if you have a smartphone) is way cheaper and less stressful - you just press a button for that player right there on the display and that starts and stops the close for them - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.nand.MultiTimer .
Looks pretty good! I previously used nandsoft multitimer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.nand.MultiTimer
