Mezzo is incredible. It has a waveform seekbar, and it's worth getting for that alone. If you've ever used audio editing software such as Sound Forge you know how useful that is.
But additionally the navigation is much better thought out than in most music apps, so I'm able to do what I need with much less fuss.
By the way, I also bought Poweramp and had been using it for years but never really enjoyed it. I definitely recommend you give Mezzo a try.
EDIT: Multiple downvotes? Really? Do people not know how to Reddit, or are a couple of other commenters trying to get their comments to the top? If you don't like the app that's fine, but downvotes are for when a comment doesn't contribute to the conversation and this clearly does. Come on people, this has always been a friendly subreddit.
Music Player Mezzo. As far as I know it's the only music player with a waveform seek bar. Lots of customisation options and an attractive and fairly intuitive interface.
EDIT: There is no mention of FLACs in the app's documentation and there is even a review on the Play Store that says it doesn't play FLACs, but I've just double-checked and they work fine on my phone.
