Hey there, everyone! I'm sure you've noticed me around before, but in case you haven't, I'm the fellow from Aurora who photographs storms from a very safe distance instead running towards the funnel clouds. I'm more of a fan of the calm than of the extreme, and although I have fantastic insurance on my car, I don't think a Toyota Prius is the proper vehicle to go head to head with a massive storm system.
I'm not a storm-chaser or meteorologist, but I have had a fondness for photographing storms and making time-lapse films of cloud movement and sunsets around the city for close to 10 years now. I am also quite interested in things like:
As /u/GringodelRio mentioned, he was kind enough to give me a hand with the CSS for my [home city](/r/AuroraCO), and when he invited me onto the /r/COWX team, I thought I'd return the favor while he attempts to avoids catching dysentary during his long wagon ride into one of those chilly flyover states.
So post those pictures, ask those questions, and while you're at it, go download the MyWeatherConcierge app for iOS or Android. /u/joi1369 releases some wonderfully informative forecasts and even updates forecasts as the weather changes. Whatever questions I can't answer, he most likely can.
Cheers!
