Hey ladies and gents,
So a bit of a background about myself. I've been a mainframe developer for about 5 years now in the financial industry. About a year ago I decided I wanted to make a change and expand my skillset so I can do more interesting things and don't end up being a one trick pony my whole career.
I started taking tutorials on Android development and started grasping the concepts needed to make an app, until I had learned enough to start working on my own projects, and picking up on the things I didn't already know along the way. I was already familiar with object oriented languages from my Computer Science days in college so that aspect of it was pretty simple.
Anyways here is a link to my first app. It is a football app that keeps track of standings, scores, rankings, league leaders and currently holds data from 2014-2016. I would love to get some feedback and constructive criticism from you guys. Do you think it is impressive enough to attract potential employers?
