It works fine on Android, it has bugs like any other emulator but you can play fine.

The core already compiles on Linux, only the UI/Recompiler need to be worked. x64 support is already "done", only left the recompiler support. In my opinion recompiler can be removed, because it is not needed on modern hardware, the interpreter is fast enough.
