The QAIDA NOORANIA system is one of best to teach non Arabs the Arabic script. I believe it was invented by India or Pakistan Muslims to learn Arabic.
If you use an Android mobile phone then use this Google Play app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zoomat.qaida.noorania

I use an app called Qizlet which has wordlist created by people.

Wa Alaykum as Salam wa Rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!
First thing you want to knock out here is the alphabet. The best way for you to do that, in my opinion, is through mnemonics or a spelling book called Qaida Nooraniya. You can pretty much try the first method on your own. Memrise decks, for instance, come with lots of them for free. If you feel like shelling out a few bucks though, make sure to check out Arabic Genie or Dr. Moku. These can also do wonders, in shaa Allah.
As for the spelling book, you'll need external help. You can download it for free on the web or on your mobile device (Android | iOS) and then head over to YouTube to get free lessons and follow along as you learn. This should do the trick.
Once you're ok reading, or at least stuttering, it'll be time to learn some basic grammar. This part is VITAL! The reason for that is that Arabic words change around a significant lot. If you're still a beginner, and I'm assuming you are, jumping straight into vocab will only confuse you even more. So, learn some basic grammar first and try to understand what's going on in the sentences, even if you have no clue what they mean. This will make things a lot easier for you in the future, in shaa Allah. For this part, I suggest the first 3 or 4 units of a course by Bayyinah TV, called Arabic with Husna. You can also learn the ropes for free with Understand Quran Academy or with the Madinah Arabic course, and search for a teacher on YouTube to guide you through the book, but I still find Bayyinah TV to be particularly better.
At this point, you're quite ready to get started on the vocab. Since you'll be focusing on the Quran, you might want to try the following resources:
And, of course, if you ever feel like learning everyday words so you can make friends in the arab world, then the links I'm sharing below will really come in handy, in shaa Allah.
EXTRA TIP: When you need a language partner, try HelloTalk. Reaching out to them is easy-peasy with this app. You can also find them in bulks on platforms related to english learning & exchange, such as EnglishBaby!, Verbling and LingQ. I'm pretty sure they'd be more than happy to help.
May Allah SWT make it easy for you. Ameen!
